A Gentle Guide to Vanishing

From the World

Untie your name from every thread,

Let it drift like leaves long dead.

Erase the lines that made your trail,

Be the breeze, the blur, the veil.

Forget the songs that knew your voice,

Silence now becomes your choice.

Speak in glances, dream in smoke,

Break the ties you never spoke.

Wear the dusk like second skin,

Let no one ask where you have been.

A face is fleeting, so is form—

Become the calm inside the storm.

Photographs are flames to feed,

Burn each one and plant no seed.

No roots, no calls, no final note—

Just vanish in your overcoat.

And when the morning wakes the sky,

Do not explain, do not reply.

To disappear is not to die—

It's just to live where none ask why.
