A Garden Says Thank You Like This!
Create one for self

A garden can’t talk
Not verbally like humans do.
But it speaks,
In silent, sacred ways.
It shows love.
It offers thank you.
Let me show you how —
A bunch of flowers
You can pick
On a fresh morning
To inhale their fragrance
And decorate your home.
Colorful butterflies
Stop by to enchant.
Birds visit
To sing melodies.
You can harvest
Some vegetables and greens
All year round.
Not only for yourself —
But to share the surplus.
We know the joy
Of sharing our bounty.
The little kids
Can have a safe sanctuary
To play and dream.
And this is just a glimpse —
The garden is much more.
A friend, a guide,
A temple, a gym,
A heaven on Earth.
Create one for yourself,
If you haven’t already.
Anyway, that’s how a garden
Says thank you
Without speaking a word.
