A Day in the Life of the Blue Bay Sky

(Described by a set of five haiku poems and pictorials)

By Calvin LondonPublished about a year ago 1 min read
My two little girls explore a new day at beautiful Blue Bay_ Author's image 2024

The day begins ..... The sunlight's peeking through.

Sunrise at Blue Bay, Western Australia_ Author's Image_2024

Starting to peek through,

Sunrise sparking a new day,

A new day dawning.

Essence of the day ..... Suddenly, color.

A glider passes my window on a windy day_Author's image_2024

I spy a glider,

In his armchair in the sky,

Fly by glider fly.

As day progresses ..... clouds come out to play.

Clouds over Blue Bay, Western Australia_Author's Image 2024

Clouds up in the sky,

White cotton balls at play,

Soon, they will drift by.

Close to the end ...... The sun readies to sleep

A setting sun over Blue Bay, Western Australia_ Author's image 2024

Painted by a God,

Pastel art shaped in delight,

Immerse in the sight.

Day's end ..... The sky bleeds red to bid goodnight.

The red sky I see,

Looks like the sky bleeds tonight,

What an awesome sight.

I would love to hear your thoughts.

Till next time,

I didn't quite get the poem at first, but I read the comment about the images, and I went back. This is different in a good way, the pictures helped me flow with the writings.Nice one Calvin.

I loved this journey through the day and the haikus provide just enough detail for each transition. Calming.
