The Wisdom of the Heart
I'd rather live a simple life alone than get caught up in a complicated relationship with all its complex feelings. A relationship that should have ended long ago might be prolonged, but it will never lead to a successful conclusion. Even if an unsuitable person enters your life, they will eventually leave.
Let go of the one whose heart no longer belongs to you, and save that precious love for someone who deserves it. I only want what truly belongs to me, because I know that all striving to hold on will ultimately lead to loss. I always know the happiness I truly desire, and I understand how worthwhile it is to persevere for it.
