A Bond Unbreakable

A message to my daughter

By Dinah HillPublished 4 years ago Updated 4 years ago 1 min read

We shared a body for 10 months of my life, and when you arrived it was love at first sight.

Your father looked at you and he shed a tear, for the beauty we created was perfectly clear.

Your eyes were grey, your cheeks red and round. Your lips rosy pink, for we both made a vow.

My dear daughter your loved, protected and safe. As long as we both live you will never worry a day.

Your bond with your Father will never break nor it bend. Through every obstacle and chapter, he will always transcend.

Your first step, your first word, everything that you do, we will be by your side. My darling you are loved yet you don’t have a clue.

Every day you awake you find me and smile. I lift you up and you stretch, then you go crazy and wild.

You pack such a large personality in such a tiny shell, and everyday that you grow my love for you swells.

We three share a bond, yet soon to be four. Our love will never bind but grow more and more.

Confide in me, I’m your mother and your friend. For I will love you with everyday until my hearts beat comes to an end.

Your father will sacrifice anything he can in this galaxy. For he is the Earth, and you are his gravity.

We love you beyond infinity, my dear darling Rain Divinity.
