Loving you was like an over-jammed
frying pan. I wanted all my
bell peppers to brown—for the
lamb juices to bloom. For
the tastes to marry.
In the end, I
lacked patience,
you your
room.

Superb
How you consistently come up with great anchoring imagery in each of these is beyond me! Another outstanding entry!
The tastes to marry, that really stood out to me. Loved your Nonet so much!
Oooh this is so well done and creative Gina!
Fun pictures created here!! 😊👍 I’m liking the rhymes that some of you are doing too! ☺️
Yeah, I also disagree with juices. Love the poem though. Very clever a analogy.
Loved it, I also don't get how juices is just one syllable.
Very creative 🥰
Interesting and fun take on the challenge
Very meaningful poetry.
