Dawns & Dusks

By Daniela AlejandraPublished about a year ago 1 min read

I thought the Earth would end

When you took your last breath

Stop on its axis and shatter

Swept into the cosmic void

By the tidal waves

of my loud lament

How cruel of it to keep spinning

Ten years after

3,652 dawns

3,652 dusks

and a million fleeting moments

Without you

About the Creator

Daniela Alejandra

Life's a journey and I don't have map.

I long to create worlds like the ones I would read about under the blankets late at night.

Magical realism.
