Epilogue

Artist: Vincent van Gogh

My love, the mutant child has returned.

For just up yonder, I see her emerging from the meadows, the sun illuminating her skin and glinting across her irides.

Just a moment's trice, I thought my eyes deceived me, misguided by the longing in my heart to see her again, but behold, it truly is she, my beloved.

All these years, I thought she was dead, lost in the underworld forever, trapped in a perpetual mirage, but lo, she yet breathes and has found me, here of all places, Huntley, meadow of the hunter.

Her gaze falls upon me, and she smiles; slowly, relief ripples through the vibrations of her skin as she takes me deeper into her starlit gaze.

Oh, my love, come now, let us make haste and leave this plain; ye, I swore never to depart long as yee soul be here, but now that you have returned unto me, I entreat thee to come with me now and flee this place, for the heavens and stars await us, it is time to go home.

Do you remember home, my love? I pray thee, if but a faint glimmer remains, take my hand and depart with me, for I vow never to leave your side again; for all eternity, I am yours, and you are mine.

Come now, my darling, all that I doth speak is true, for I have tarried here for none other but you; now I beg of you, let us go away, for there is nothing left for us here; let us leave, and chart a new path, just you and me.

"My love, take me away."

Life is a stage, and we are all but meager players in the theater of life. Your story is an expression of love!
