Could this be the day that I begin seeing?
For the first time, I’d be like a new being.
The rest of my family, they would surely be agreeing.
He touched my eyes and it was beyond freeing,
as I can now see!
The clouds exist,
the color blue, it now makes sense!
What a world of excitement,
to see color for the first time, as a newly found entertainment!
The sun, it’s so bright,
what a powerful, throbbing light.
I see faces for the first time,
it’s a good thing staring isn’t a horrific crime.
Everything and everyone is so beautiful!
