wild animals
Animals the way nature intended it; explore the world of wild animals and the controversies surrounding domestication and hunting of feral beasts.
Birds.
Recent research from Cornell University has combined the science of ornithology with artificial intelligence tools to allow researchers to capture bird migration that bird conservationists have always expected to be high. The study, led by scientists at the University of Michigan, examined data from more than 1.5 million birds collected from the U.S. Geological Survey's National Bird Survey between 1978 and 2016.

Dear Canada, Please Let Mystic Aquarium Acquire MarineLand’s Belugas
To whom it may concern, My name is Jenna Deedy, and I am a freelance writer and volunteer educator for New England Aquarium who has worked with animals, primarily marine mammals since the age of 10. I am writing on behalf of the marine zoological community in favor of enabling Mystic Aquarium to acquire five aquarium-born beluga whales from MarineLand in Niagra Falls, Canada.

Red-Crowned Woodpecker
Recently, I was sent a photo showing a red-bellied woodpecker caught stealing a spotted woodpecker's nest. The male's bright red colour prompts the casual observer to call the bird "Red-headed Woodpecker," but a related, less common species, which actually has a completely red head, has already taken its name. Because the red-bellied woodpecker has so much red on his head People think their name should be "red-headed." The smaller woodpecker behaves similarly, with a yellow-red colour that is often not immediately visible, but the lighter red male causes the birds to be referred to as "red-headed" by casual observers.

Dead whale mother
in Western Scheldt near Terneuzen, 'doomed young'. One of the whales that were seen swimming in the Western Scheldt on Sunday was washed up dead near Terneuzen on Monday. According to SOS Dolfijn, this is an adult bottlenose whale of six meters. Her cub is still swimming around, but is also doomed.“If the calf still drinks milk from the mother, there is no chance of survival,” explains Annemarie van den Berg of SOS Dolfijn to Hart van Nederland. "The only thing we can do is keep an eye on the calf and possibly put it out of its misery." That is why there is a call to watch out for the whale cub.Rare in the Netherlands

Are You a Mosquito Magnet?
Mosquitos are smarter than most people realize. They have four well-developed senses (sight, smell, taste, and hearing), a capacity for making decisions, and have developed flavour preferences — yes they like some of us more than others, based on how we taste.

Stupid Wasp!
I hate wasps! They are evil and unnecessary. I turned 25 four days ago and not once had I been stung. It was a blessing, but two days after my 25th birthday, it happened. I was out with a friend the other day. I hadn't seen her in nearly two years, so we finally got around to meeting and decided to go shopping for Asian outfits. We got off the train and were walking down the platform. I felt something fall on my head but thought it was nothing. Then I moved my hair out of my face and that's when I felt it, the excruciating pain shooting through my thumb. Yes, that's right, there was a wasp crawling on my head! It was as though it was stuck in my hair. I have never felt pain like that before. I hate any kind of pain anyway, so this was hell for me.

THE ATTACK OF THE BEAVER AT THE LAKE
It was the beginning of summer and we decided to go to Nancy Lake and fish for Rainbow Trout and Pike. I called my daughter on the phone I asked her if she wanted to come. She said yes, I told her we would leave the next day. As I was getting ready I noticed that we did not have enough bait. So I called my husband to pick some up. He told me he would get some worms and not to worry. I do worry a little bit because if we forget something there is no way we can get the item. Well, I would get everything we needed. All my husband has to do is put the gear into the car. In the meantime, my daughter is getting her things together. My husband came home and we had dinner then he put some things in the car. I asked him if he had gotten the bate. He said he did and I said besides the worms did you get the eggs. He told me he did I said to him great! The next morning we ate breakfast and then finished putting everything in the car. I called my daughter and told her we will be picking her up. When we arrived at her home she came to the car and put her things in the car. My husband drove to the highway and he had to drive about an hour to Nancy Lake campground.

Possible Big Cat Evidence – Cinderford, Forest of Dean
The following report was relayed to me by a colleague over 10 years ago. It has remained buried in my records for much of the time since, but has circulated occasionally in the big cat groups of Facebook. I received the report from a fellow nurse who I worked with in a large psychiatric hospital at the start of my career.

Woman on Facebook Says She Rescued an Angry Dog, but Followers Tell Her that It Is Not a 🐕
A woman of Omagh, Northern Ireland posted a photo of an angry dog she found eating a dead rabbit on the side of the road. What a weird thing to do. Disgusting and quite daring if you ask me. Who knows what diseases this wild dog could have had or what savage attacks it’s willing to do to anyone who gets close to it? But, she decided to let her huge heart shine by letting the dog inside of her car and inside of her home. This shouldn't go well. She'd be lucky if it did.

Why the carnivores are so successful in the nature
Why are the carnivores so successful in the nature? On field during Kenya safaris, you will meet the famous cats that roam the savannahs of Kenya. It is their beauty that will steal the moment but the most interesting thing is the evolution of survival that has made them so outstanding among other animals. It is through the eyes of those facts that you are going to see them and once you understand these simple facts, your Safari will be more than your expectations of an African adventure. The following factors are quite basic, but once you apply them in the field, you will turn your safari into a life-time adventure.
