My Hamster
I grew up loving rows and rows of small animals, so I also especially like to keep small animals. I went to the park with my mom and dad to see the lights. Suddenly saw a roadside sale of small animals, I immediately ran over, look at this, look at that, there are beautiful little goldfish, cute little turtles, lively little rabbits ...... hey! I was surprised to find a small hamster, a small animal that I had wanted for a long time. I begged my dad to buy one, at first my dad did not agree, I was so anxious that tears came out of my eyes. When Dad saw me crying, he agreed to buy me one. After bargaining, I finally bought a small hamster for 23 yuan.

Why a Cute Critter From the Rodent Family Could Be Your Ideal Pet
Do you get excited when you see cute hamsters, gerbils, rabbits, or chinchillas at a pet store? They've made their way into cartoons, novels, and adorable greeting cards. Rabbit mythology reminds me of Beatrix Potter's writings, particularly the one of the fuzzy little rascal Peter who crept into a farmer's garden and feasted before being hunted down. They are a farmer's enemy, but pet rabbits are another thing. They are as popular as pets as hamsters, guinea pigs, gerbils, and rats, all of which are members of the rodent family.

Furry Fratricide with Cloud - The Carnivorous, Murderous Hamster
Despite wanting to on many occasions, I’ve only adopted a pet once. And it was an utter disaster. I don't entirely blame myself - I wasn't told the full story behind his need for a new home. Had I been, I would've thought twice about allowing the tiny, furry ball of mayhem into my home.

Heather the Hamster. Top Story - April 2021.
I hate thinking of Heather as being a ‘purchase’. I often forget that I actually paid to have my little friend in my life. If anyone ever asked me ‘what do you think has been your best ever purchase’ I had maybe mentioned a new piece of filming equipment that had advanced my filmmaking or a new book that brought insight to a fictional world I loved, but now?
