Despite their name, Guinea Pigs are not pigs and do not come from Guinea; there's plenty to learn about these furballs.
Mrs. Nutterbutter Learns to Share
Princess Nutterbutter Learns to Share. The House on Orchard Street If you walked up the street we’re on now and turned the corner you would find Orchard Street. There are lots of houses there, but I’d like to call your attention to one special house. Of course, it might not look that special to you, at least not from the outside. It’s a brown house with an antique dog statue waiting on the front porch. But, this isn’t what’s special about it. What’s special about it is that a caring young man named William lives there with his adorable guinea pig, Nutterbutter.

Ode to the Tramp
The first Christmas that I remember is when I got best gift I have ever gotten. Ever since that one fateful night, my life has changed forever. I had my first best friend. A sweet little terripoo (terrier-poodle cross) puppy came out of a big paper-wrapped box underneath our Christmas tree. We named him Tramp after the 1955 animated Disney hit movie, "Lady and the Tramp". I watched that movie alot at that age.

So you want to get a Guinea pig
Guinea pigs also known as Cavia Porcellus are rambunctious little creatures. With their squeaks, squeals, and purring whats not to love about them. Yes, with all this cuteness you’d assume they are simple animals to take care of. They are not, as amazing as they are you should really do all the research that you can over them. I have two of these energetic little guys right now and they keep me on my toes.

Three little piggies
I'd firstly like to say that I never thought these tiny balls of fluff would have as big as an impact on my life as they have. I now wake up to go and see them; see how they have continued to be petty towards one another; and to see how much the look forward to seeing me.

My Guinea Pigs Are My Therapists
It's well known that service animals are beneficial and therapeutic for people with disabilities, but they can also be extremely helpful for mental health. I'm the mom to four guinea pigs, and I also struggle with major depressive disorder. While most people probably wouldn't think of a guinea pig as a therapist, they've done a great deal for me in multiple ways.

Guinea Pigs Galore! Part 2
That first night 3 of the 7 found new homes, leaving us with 4. The girls each get one of the solo ones so they each have their own cage to be responsible for. A and I fell in love with the two long-haired boys. Her with the red/white one pictured and myself with the black & white you can barely see in the background of the photo.
