dog
It's no coincidence that a dog is a man's best friend; they're more faithful than most other animals, and more faithful than many people.
You'll Never Know...
I was doing really well. I was keeping it together like any grown-up does (do adults call themselves grown-ups? Probably not but this 25-year-old does and will continue to do so). I walked out the door of the vet's office, unlocked my car, sat down, shut the door, and lost it. Seriously. I was full on ugly crying. I envy those who can look somewhat normal when they cry, god forbid, pretty.

What Really Happens When Your Worst Case Scenario Actually Happens?
We've all thought of the worse case scenarios in our head. About our love one dying, getting into an accident, or falling ill. We even had these thoughts with our family pet. These thoughts, did you cry? Did you care? Or did you not feel anything all? I will be sharing my experience. My worse case scenario actually happened to me...

The Love of a Dog
It was June and I just graduated high school. My mother and father knew what I wanted for graduation for a long time now but didn't know if it was the right time for me to get something that would take up so much responsibility when I already had a lot on my plate.

Their Lifelong Friend
When you are walking through that shelter and trying to find a puppy you can love, it's hard to choose which one to take because they all need homes. But when you come by that certain one, you will know. For me, I came across a little brown and white puppy and I knew I just had to have her.

Can Dogs Be Allergic to Cats?
Once I have a bigger place, I plan on being a multi-animal household. I don't understand people that are "cat people" or "dog people" specifically. They're both great in their own ways! I have a cat right now because my apartment is pretty small and the complex doesn't allow big dogs, but one day I definitely will have both. Dog and cat friendships are just so pure and wonderful to witness!

What Are the Benefits for Senior Citizens Owning a Dog
Getting old is not easy. The majority of things that we could have done in our youth will be bounded to us as we get older. Muscles deteriorate, our body gives away, and even our mind will tend to abandon us. But it doesn’t all have to be bad. There are certain things that could make people happy even in their latter part of life. Pets, especially dogs, have proven to be a very beneficial source of entertainment and exercise for elderly people. In fact, dogs have a lot of good qualities to them that can help elderly people.

Home Treatment for Sick Dogs. Top Story - June 2018.
My pooches are just as much a part of the family as my other half and I, so it’s heart breaking to know they are in pain (or think they are in pain). So many times I wish my dogs could tell me what’s wrong so I can avoid £100 for a quick visit to the vets to be told all is OK.

Mika's First New Family
My boyfriend and I just recently got our dog Mika. Mika was with her owner at the shop (Two Men and A Truck) when my boyfriend had walked up to her and started petting and playing with her. He is really good friends with her previous owner. When he said to his friend if he ever needed to find a good, safe, fun, and loving home for his Mika, we would love to take her in. The previous owner, being super happy to hear that a good friend and his new girlfriend would provide Mika with a good home, was more than happy to let her come and be with us! I guess my boyfriend's friend was going through a rough breakup and it was starting to get hard on him and Mika. He had told my boyfriend that he was just visiting his father before he was going to take her to the animal shelter.

My Dog Is My Best Friend
Two years ago my family and I moved to a new house in Southern California with 15,000 square feet of flat land. We decided it would be a wonderful idea to get a large dog since we have land for him or her to run around. We wanted to buy an Australian Shepherd Blue Merle male because my dad had one when he was a kid and they are truly great dogs. First, we researched information about that breed such as what their temperaments usually are around people and what it is like to own one. Then we were on the search for the perfect dog. Finally, after a month of searching through Facebook ads, we found a breeder that had a Blue Merle Aussie male for sale. So we drove two hours to meet all of the Aussies and chose the perfect puppy for our family.

Can Dogs Get Concussions?
Whenever we hear about concussions, we immediately think about athletes because so many of them get concussions during games. But we're not the only ones at risk of getting one but dogs get concussions, too. I recently figured this out when one of my dogs accidentally hit her head on the wall.
