dog
It's no coincidence that a dog is a man's best friend; they're more faithful than most other animals, and more faithful than many people.
Gracie
Hi. Let me introduce myself. I’m Gracie. I am the second child. Aren’t we supposed to be the easiest? I guess I never got the memo. I am very particular in getting my way, all of the time. I honestly should have been an only child. I was in a foster home until I was one, and then I was adopted. Once I arrived, I immediately made sure everyone knew that I was in charge. My older brother, Charlie, was used to getting everything, but I put an end to that right away. I took his bone the first night. Who cares that he is a full breed and that I’m a mix? I needed to let him know right then and there, that the Queen has arrived.

A Hounds Nose
Today couldn’t be any worse I thought to myself as I trailed behind my 100 pound bloodhound in the pouring rain. Don’t get me wrong I love the mischief making boy, but days when the weather sucks and he still needs a walk are starting to wear a little thin. Pain slices through my shoulder, pulling me out of the misery in my head and into a new one as Karl yanks hard to cross the street as we enter into the park. I try to slow him down but if I’m being honest with myself he’s stronger than I am and when he finds a scent like this the best thing to do is to just hold on tight to his leash. I spend most of our walks being walked by my dog and not the other way around.

The Connection
The Connection Jeff and Hazel Henderson were twins, the connection. Between them was extremely close. They even shared telepathic incidences, many times one would be thinking about something, and the other would come out and say it,.It was their 25th birthday today. They were left the family home after their parents had died in a car crash, and they decided to keep the house on and stay there. It was a beautiful house with five bedrooms, living room and dining room, and two bathrooms, Two of the bedrooms also had on suite , a conservatory , office and a well laid out garden. They were comfortable financially, left to them in their parents will. Also their grandparents had left them both twenty thousand dollars each, in endowments. Jeff was an excellent chef, and Hazel had a gift for hospitality, they decided that with their skills and talents to turn the house into a bed and breakfast. They lived in a small village just fifty miles from Glasgow, In Scotland, and near Edinburgh the capital city. Always a very busy place with tourists. It was a glorious Saturday morning, the sun was shining through the window, Hazel got out of bed, beyond the garden there was a field, and she looked out enjoying the scenery. She was excited to give Jeff his birthday present. She hoped He would love it. She was picking it up today, and truth be told, she would love the present also.Hazel had her shower dressed and went downstairs, she could hear Jeff in the kitchen , the rest of the house was quiet, they had no guests arriving until Monday. They both intended to make the most of the couple of days off.

GENERAL HISTORY OF DOGS
There is no incongruity in the idea that in the very earliest period of man's habitation of this world he made a friend and companion of some sort of aboriginal representative of our modern dog, and that in return for its aid in protecting him from wilder animals, and in guarding his sheep and goats, he gave it a share of his food, a corner in his dwelling, and grew to trust it and care for it. Probably the animal was originally little else than an unusually gentle jackal, or an ailing wolf driven by its companions from the wild marauding pack to seek shelter in alien surroundings. One can well conceive the possibility of the partnership beginning in the circumstance of some helpless whelps being brought home by the early hunters to be tended and reared by the women and children. Dogs introduced into the home as playthings for the children would grow to regard themselves, and be regarded, as members of the family

Kringle
In the wild and dangerous streets of Tijuana, a small puppy was born. He was brindle, mostly brown and had short hair and dark, happy eyes. The little boy was happy and played in the sun with the other street dogs there. Although being a street dog in Mexico wasn’t easy by any account, the little boy found bits of food to eat and felt happy to be alive and play with his other pup friends as they ran and ran and ran and sometimes wrestled or played tug of war. He loved laying in the sun and closing his eyes. He thought nothing else could feel so nice. Occasionally, a kind human would stop to share a morsel with the tiny pup and offer a few pets, something the boy loved more than anything. The unfortunate reality, though, was that evil people exist in the world. Some of them didn’t care about his life at all, and the poor pup learned this the hard way one night as the shadows were beginning to descend on the streets.

My Dog Story
I grew up with outside dogs. Humans were happy in our home, and I thought dogs were just as happy outside. Frisky, our last family dog, slept under the deck and ate the same food we did. When I walked the roads and trails, Frisky was at my feet, going to the same places I went. I would push our boat into the water to go fishing, and if he were not already in the boat with me, he would almost always spot me in the water as the boat was leaving the bank. It seemed like part of the fun for him to jump from the pier to the boat, sometimes four or five feet. At the end of one jump, I had a broken fishing rod.

Your Dog in the Pandemic
Your Dog in the Pandemic by Sarah Elizabeth What are the things getting you through this pandemic? Your job? Your passions? Binge watching your favorite TV show?..... I’ll bet at the top of the list you’ll find your DOG is getting you through the uncertainty of the COVID19 pandemic. They lift us up in times of stress and sadness, but they absorb a lot of our emotions, too.

Why 44% of households have a pet
Within the UK there is an estimated 12 million households with pets. That is 44%. These 12 million homes have around 51 million pets in total. According to news reports the COVID-19 pandemic has led to more people getting the dogs that they have wanted but been putting off. What makes owning a hyper, hungry pooping machine that appealing?
