WE WERE LOST AT POINT MCKENZIE
It was getting late and we were way behind schedule. My daughter called at the wrong time, but I talked to her anyway. I told her we are going to camp at Point Mckenzie to go fishing for Rainbow Trout. She said for us to have fun! I said we will but we need to get on the road soon! My husband wanted to get on the road as soon as possible. I had everything ready to go all I had to do was to put everything in the car. We were also taking Nicholas, was a white Toy Poodle. I picked him up and put him in the car. Nicholas loved to ride in the car. He also liked to go camping and fishing with us. Finally, we were on the road to Point Mckenzie, it was only one hour's drive. My husband drove onto Knik Road and on to Point Mckenzie and then to the lake. I looked for Moose but I did not see a one. We finally reached our destination, and we found a great spot to camp. After we put the tent up and the tarp he built a fire so we could have a cup of coffee. After the coffee was done, we sat drinking it and it was so good! Nicholas loved to lay on my lap and he liked sleeping on the foam mattress in the tent. I put my dog Nicholas into the tent and he made himself comfortable. I had my coffee and a snack and was talking to my husband. My husband said to me he wanted to go fishing. I told him o.k but not to stay out too late! He left and I finished my coffee and I went into the tent to take a nap.

What are you doing on a scanner?
Have you seen a cat on a scanner before? Well, @cocopangpang on TikTok you can see a video of a white cat sitting on a scanner. In the introduction phase the video starts by a white cat playing on a scanner. Then a girl filming says "Oh my god, what are you doing on a scanner?" to the cat. Right at that moment, the cat acts like nothing is happening by covering the scanner with her feet and an innocent look towards the camera. Then the camera shutter sound triggers three images from the scanner. Each image shows different looks of the cat on a scanner where the image above shows the second image from the video. The other two images are different from the one above. You can visit the video though the link here. (https://www.tiktok.com/@cocopangpang/video/6839751024983510277)

K9 Units
My favorite Tik Tok videos are the K9 videos. The police love working with their K9 partners and love to show them off on Tik Tok. There are so many of these videos to the point that it is very difficult to choose just one. Some of these videos show how close they are with there K9s by goofing off with them. There are also videos were the officer is going through the training process that there K9s must go through to do their jobs.

Dog care in the time of corona outbreak
Each life has been affected by lockdown. Coronavirus outbreak has not only forced us to stay indoors but our dogs are also bearing the brunt. Being locked inside for long hours that is also without physical activity may result in them losing appetite and that may lead to anxiety in them. Lack of physical activities may affect their metabolism system that would lead to a weak immune system. Thus, it is very important to take extra care of your dog/s in this extraordinary situation arisen due to the Corona outbreak. Here is how you can make your dog’s day more tolerable and engaging.

What my Cats Have Taught Me
I've always been a cat person. I've loved and had to say goodbye to many a good one. After all, I am in my sixties now. Each one, though, has gifted me with something magical. These are my babies now. They will most likely be my lasts. They know they are special in their own little ways and so endearing. (See, I told you I was a cat person!)

Adopt Vs Shop:
After debating the pros and cons of getting a furry friend to welcome into your home, you must then decide whether to adopt or shop. This decision is never an easy one to make, with many potential concerns associated with both. There are an abundance of articles and social media pages out there that give their opinions on what is morally the right and wrong thing to do, with many arguing adopting an animal from a shelter should always be preferred. However, the answer is not this straightforward and is entirely your decision. Recently, there have been reports that dog rehoming charity Dog’s Trust has seen an increase in people giving up their dogs as lockdown eases, predicting numbers as high as tens of thousands as owners realise they can no longer look after their pup.

The last few months have been strange enough for humans, but what about our furry friends? Our pets and ourselves are animals alike who have a relentless need for socialisation and engagement, which is what our pets have had during lockdown. Our cats and dogs and everything else in between have been graced with our presence day in day out with plenty of attention and cuddles.
