Hamilton, the Amazing Hummingbird
Hamilton’s wings thrummed. He buzzed like a bumblebee as he hovered over a field of hot-pink petunias. But those flowers weren’t the only ones. Indeed, people grew various colors of the sweet flowers on a vast meadow – all solely for Hamilton’s pleasure. For one thing, this ruby-throated bird acted like he was the only hummingbird. He preferred being antisocial except when mating. Moreover, his small, five-gram body (less than 1 ounce) possessed many magical, hidden powers! Hamilton knew he was the most iridescent pugilist of all the other birds that winged about him.

Top 10 Most Loyal Dog Breeds
The dog is man's best friend, without a doubt, but friendship takes many forms. Some dogs do not seem to know or be too interested in who cares for them, who feeds them and walks them, sniffing the same way at every stranger they meet.

Merry Christmas from Boots
Holiday Boots Emerges Boots is the kitty I purchased from the local ASPCA in late March after my husband passed away. We kept the name the shelter had given him because his paws do look like he is wearing white boots. His first night with us he was nervous, hissed, and ran under a bed. Slowly but surely he began to come around and has been a blessing. He is one of the family and I cannot imagine life without him. This gray Tabby has a nick on his left ear to indicate that he had been neutered. The idea that hsi testicles were surgically removed is a bit troubling for me but I know it is for the best. Boots is rather large so his outfit was a bit tight. He lay still while in it as if he were imprisoned so after getting a few photos I removed it.

I'm Currently Living On an Island Where People Have Pet Monkeys
I think at one point every child has fantasized about having a pet monkey. For me, it was one of my first memories! No kidding. Cats - Did you know that …?
- Like humans, cats can be right-handed or left-handed. - A cat can jump seven times its height. - The cat cannot see immediately under her nose, so the goodies you throw on the floor will remain untouched if she is not careful when you throw them.

Hey, Pick Up Your Sh*t
I live in a high-traffic neighborhood; you're one block away from Adams Ave, an array of cafés, bars, restaurants, dry cleaning, dog groomers, laundromats, barbers, and sports bars; your simple errands are only a few blocks away. I love this neighborhood because everything is within walking distance away. I can walk to the Post Office and get a pedicure on the same street. It's paradise. Every year Adam's Ave has a street fair; unfortunately, the pandemic has it shut down temporarily. My neighborhood has a theme of naming streets after U.S presidents, so if you guessed that Adams Avenue was named after sixth president John Quincy Adams, then I would say that you're correct.

The Best and Brightest Have Fur
There is a wonderful Japanese proverb that my dad taught me. We have three faces. Our first face is the one that we show other people. It is the best performance we can give, whether it be a job interview or first date. This face is what we want people to see us as and remember us by. Our second face is the one we show to family and close friends. This is the face people talk about when they really know you. They see your strengths and weaknesses and love you for all of them.
