Ember
On May 27th, 2017 my entire world changed. After a long day of work at Quicken Loans, I literally had to drag myself out of the car to go inside the house. Now, at this time my husband and I were crashing at a friend's house for a couple months while we were trying to get back on our feet. So, as I walk up to the door trying to put the key into the doorknob, I feel a little tug at my feet. It's dark out and not the greatest neighborhood, so my paranoid self jumped. I looked down and saw the saddest puppy dog eyes pawing at my feet. I was so confused. I looked around and saw the neighbors across the street starting to walk over to me. Now mind you, I have seen this dog. She belonged to a family down the street. She was always being pulled down the street by the kids. I felt awful whenever I would see her, but I didn't want to start any problems. The neighbors came over and said her family left her tied to the porch in 90 degree weather that day and I guess she got loose and almost got hit by a car. So the neighbors asked them to put her inside the house and they refused and said to let anyone take her. They lost interest in her. They couldn't take her so they were just sitting with her outside when she decided to run up to me that night.

The Legend of Fort Catamo and why there is not only a physical aspect to this place but a spiritual side. Well, first of all, some people may ask, "Why now?" Mango
After a long day of work, I was finally able to come home and relax. However, once I had gotten comfortable in my bed, I heard my mom calling my name. I was a little reluctant to go at first, but everyone knows it’s not a good idea to ignore your mother. Once I found her, I asked her what she needed. Her response was, “Could you do me a huge favor and take the trash down to the curb?” Ignoring the fact that it was cold and dark outside, I agreed to help her. I grabbed the first pair of shoes I saw and started my task. I was about halfway down my driveway when I heard an unfamiliar whining sound. I’m a very anxious person to begin with, so hearing odd sounds in the pitch-black caused me to become quite alarmed. Scared of what I might see, I slowly turned my head towards the direction of the sound. However, all my fears melted away when I saw a small cat run onto my porch. I quickly brought the trashcan down to the curb and then slowly crept towards the cat, making sure not to startle it. Once I got within ten feet of it, I put my hand out and tried to lure it in. To my surprise, the cat came right to me. Although, my heart broke once I got a good look at it. He was a tabby cat who couldn’t have been any older than two years. He had golden eyes and long white whiskers. His body sunk in under his ribs, alluding to the fact that he was severely malnourished. I immediately ran into my house to get him some cat food, praying he wouldn’t leave while I was gone. Thankfully, he was still there when I got back. I sat the small bowl down in front of him, and he instantly started eating. I spent the next ten minutes watching the cat chow down the dry food. Once he was done, he came over to me and started rubbing against my legs. I could tell that the cat had previously lived in a home because he wasn’t afraid of humans. Every part of my brain was focusing on how I needed to help this cat. I felt as if he had stumbled upon my house for a reason. Fearing that he would give my current cats fleas or a disease, I couldn’t take the stray into my home. I refilled the water and food bowls, and then went back into my house. Before I went to sleep that night, I prayed that I would see him again tomorrow.

Can I Give My Dog Benadryl and How Much?
Man's best friend: dogs have more than earned that title. They are loving, loyal, and adorably dumb at times. That's why we always want to give our dog the best. It's why we allow them to have the healthiest human food for dogs every once and a while and why we look into the benefits of doggy daycare before sending them there.

Save Animal's Lives—Say No to That Eyeshadow!
Take a moment to think about your daily routine. You get up, groan about school /work, and take a shower. You use Head and Shoulders for that awful dandruff, or Dove for that silky, smooth feeling. You get out of the shower and step onto your bath mat made from 100 percent wool. You brush your teeth with Aim or Sensodyne, as recommended by your dentist, and use Listerine Mouth Wash. After getting dressed for the day and putting on Secret or Degree deodorant, maybe you put on some makeup. You try out a new Maybelline product or an old-but-favorite shade of lipstick from Makeup Forever.
