Once upon a time, there was a black and white cat named Mittens who could talk. He lived with a kind old lady named Mrs. Jenkins in a cozy cottage on the outskirts of town.
One day, Mittens decided to go on an adventure outside of the cottage. As he strolled down the road, he met a group of stray cats who were looking for a place to call home.
Mittens felt sorry for them and invited them to live with him and Mrs. Jenkins. The stray cats were hesitant at first, but Mittens convinced them that Mrs. Jenkins would take good care of them.
Mrs. Jenkins was surprised to see so many cats in her home, but she welcomed them with open arms. Mittens acted as the translator and explained to Mrs. Jenkins that the cats needed a home and promised to take care of them.
As days passed, Mittens became the leader of the cat family. He organized games and hunting sessions for them, and they all enjoyed living together.
One day, a mouse entered the house, and the cats went on a wild chase to catch it. Mittens was quick to catch the mouse and handed it over to Mrs. Jenkins, who was grateful to Mittens for protecting her home.
From that day on, Mrs. Jenkins began to appreciate Mittens even more. She talked to him about her problems, and he listened patiently, offering his wise advice.
Mittens had become more than just a talking cat; he was now Mrs. Jenkins' confidant and a friend to all the cats in the cottage.
Years went by, and Mittens grew old. When he passed away, Mrs. Jenkins and the cats mourned his loss. They remembered all the good times they had with Mittens and how he had changed their lives forever.
Even though Mittens was gone, his legacy lived on, and the cats in the cottage continued to live happily ever after.
Storey 2:
Talking Gorilla Saves Monkey

In the heart of the African jungle, there lived a peculiar animal that could talk. His name was Bongo, and he was a young and adventurous gorilla who had learned to speak from listening to the humans that passed through the forest.
Bongo loved to explore the jungle, swinging from tree to tree and discovering new things. One day, as he was swinging through the canopy, he heard a loud noise coming from the ground below. Curious, he decided to investigate.
As he landed on the forest floor, Bongo saw a group of humans gathered around a trap. Inside the trap was a small monkey, crying out in distress. Bongo knew he had to do something to help the monkey, so he approached the humans and spoke up.
"Please let the monkey go. He is my friend, and he means no harm," Bongo said.
The humans were shocked to hear a gorilla speaking to them, but they could see the compassion in his eyes. They decided to release the monkey and watch as it ran back into the trees.
Bongo was relieved and overjoyed that he was able to save his friend. From that day on, Bongo became a hero in the jungle, always willing to stand up for what was right and protect his animal friends.
As he grew older, Bongo continued to explore the jungle and speak to the humans who passed through. He knew that he was unique, but he never let that make him feel different or isolated. Instead, he used his gift to bring peace and harmony to the jungle, and his words were always spoken from a place of love and kindness.
Bongo may have been an animal that could talk, but he was so much more than that. He was a friend, a hero, and a voice for all the creatures of the jungle. And his legacy would live on forever, inspiring generations of animals to follow in his footsteps and find their own unique voice in the world.
