Why You Should Embrace Adversity Whenever it Pops Up
It helps you to discover yourself
“The brick walls are there for a reason. The brick walls are not there to keep us out. The brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something. Because the brick walls are there to stop the people who don’t want it badly enough. They’re there to stop the other people.”—Randy Pausch
We live in an imperfect world that gives us everything we need to achieve excellence and uniqueness. But getting to that level of excellence and uniqueness isn’t going to be easy. Life will put you through difficulties and challenges. And these tough experiences will put you down, but it’d also be a learning experience. A time to grow and advance in life.
In my experience the more I try to find a solution for a difficult situation the more life hands me one vital lesson or another. And later on, I’d realize that adversities didn’t cause me any harm rather it helped me to increase my awareness and gain some vital knowledge that has positively influenced how I approach life.

Adversity would help you to attain self-discovery
The unseen positive side of adversity is that it breaks open a part of you. And from that opening, you’d begin to see things that you could never have seen. Life will become more meaningful to you through a new understanding and awareness. And this might be when you’d be redirected to your neglects so that you can start taking important steps in the directions that’d gradually transform you into a better individual.
Adversity compels you to make some decisions you were unable to make in the past. It brings you face to face with tasks that you had at one time chosen not to do and engender you to begin to put in the efforts that’ll bring a long-lasting change in your life. And with time the kind of life you truly want to live would then begin to come to manifestation.
Going through adversity is also an opportunity to strive to let go of some negative habits that may have been pulling you backward. It is also the time to separate yourself from folks that are not making any meaningful contribution to your life. In addition to that, your experiences from dealing with adversity would help you to understand that some seemingly good open doors aren’t meant for you to walk into. You’d also from the experience learn how to discern and avoid unfavorable relationships.

One that’d transform you by learning from the experience — and by gradually taking small steps in the right direction.
You’re going to accept the unpleasant experience the same way you’d accept a nice one because most times adversity comes to prepare you for an incoming pleasant life. To push you to embrace a lifestyle that’d enrich you and eventually bring out the best in you.
