Why does Being a Car enthusiast/Track enthusiast brings me happiness?
Section 1
Moral and Mental Happiness
This story will have 3 sections because this is not just a craft or a project that creates just one verison of happiness . It is a passion that can have endless crafts and projects that lead to different versions of happiness you create for yourself, you just have to be able to have the motivation and drive whether you want to be a track enthusiast or car enthusiast(yes pun intended). To have the motivation and drive you have to have your mental happiness in order which comes from the people who share this same passion. There are a lot of people like me out there but the cool part about it is there is a group for everyone, so there should be no reason you shouldn't be accepted in this lifestyle. 10/10 you are bound to attract the people with the same energy as you and this is where I bring you to moral happiness. Moral happiness comes from the decisions you make finding your place in this life, but no matter what you do if you are motivated and driven enough you're going to end up happy whether you're crying in your dream car because it was a sacrifice you had to make to earn it or you are smiling because your project car that cost you about the amount of your rent that you finally got running properly is now your daily driven race car. Regardless, you get to enjoy what makes you happy in the end.
Section 2
Emotional and Physical Happiness
In this section we will discuss emotional happiness and physical happiness, it's not too different from the first section. These versions of happiness breakdown the happiness that I described above. What did I say in the beginning? This world is full of endless happiness, but I'm just giving you the important ones that give you a definition of what types of happiness are created through our passion. Confidence is the number one emotion that is used to create happiness in this world, that's with anything you craft or put effort in. I will describe myself for this example because this will give you an idea of what emotional happiness looks like. I have other hobbies and talents that I enjoy which are writing, drawing, and playing pick up basketball games at the gym. Those hobbies to me though are just confidence builders to me and the reason I say that is because if I have the energy to practice and willingly put effort in doing those things, I can be confident in building, racing, driving, and or buying the car that will create that happiness for me. Now that you have that idea of emotional happiness I am about to dive into physical happiness which is in my last sentence that ended the description of emotional happiness. I can say this with confidence that building, racing, driving, and or buying your car are all examples of physical happiness. It is like your mind is a computer and your hands, eyes, mouth and legs are the printer but instead the design you came up with is real and you felt every bit of that creation as it was being processed and created by you. That's the development of physical happiness, just a clay and potter mindset. Those 2 types of happiness is what I cry and bleed for.
Section 3
Social and Distant Happiness
This final section is actually introduced in the beginning of this story. If you paid attention back to where I said “ there is a group for everyone”, you should already know how I will describe this to you. Social happiness is finding that automotive personality that matches what you believe in. I can say again I am an example of this because this does take the longest, believe it or not. It will seem like you found the right people that share the same passion but this is about the automotive lifestyle and it's still just something that's transportation. Which translates to people and their cars will come and go. People you connect with either grow and move on and hang up the life but never forget or grow with you and you guys make life epic with your adventures and different builds you accumulate throughout time. Throughout life I always was trying to find the right group of people that understood what it meant to sacrifice for this life. I faced challenges like being diagnosed at 11 with stage 4 lymphoma cancer and telling yourself you will live to drive a racecar or starting at a school with a population of 3000 people and that was just a middle school and high school but you just started remission. I didn't break my social anxiety till the end of my junior year. The only reason that happened is because I signed up for auto shop my junior and senior year, yes this is a craft ,passion, project, whatever you want to call it that will give you positive outlook on life no matter how bad the situation is and you overcome the problem as if it wasn't big in the first place. Social happiness is important because if you are not happy in the group you are in, you are just going to spiral downward and end up with “what ifs”. That almost happened to me right before the covid era, so I guess I should thank covid for that reset actually because we were all forced to distance ourselves. This leads us to our final and last topic of this story: Distant happiness. I'm sure now you don't have to wait for me to explain this to you no matter where you are reading this from. I am sure by now you understand what social distancing is because everyone had to do that. I will say after overcoming that social anxiety that problem grew back like my hair doing the pandemic. This time I was praying to god that life as a car enthusiast was not over but sure enough, I had no car, no place to live just wifi and someone who let me bum on their bean bag chair and couch. All I had to me was wifi and old racing games the person lended me to keep my head up. Social depression is way worse than Social anxiety because you just shut out everything and everyone that is around you. One day I just started embracing it and acting as if I was really on the track as im playing the video game which of course you guessed it developed Distant happiness which also restored my Social happiness because right after that I came across this page on which featured this woman who used to be a Journalist for Formula 1 and she helped me embrace who I was as a Car Enthusiast/Track enthusiast. I have to mention her because God put her on this earth to keep a life like this enjoyable for everyone and she does a great job. Her name is Jess Shanahan. She has connected me with the right people and led me to the right ideas to keep me going but I'm doing this from a distance because no one has been able to travel. To conclude this story I will let you know this story is just me building confidence for my next upcoming project because that picture in the beginning of the story was me demonstrating everything I described in this story and I have not owned that car since 2018. I will let you ponder on that because I am here to just explain what creates my happiness. I just gave you the whole formula and then some!
