When to Begin a New Something

The Elements To Assist You In Determining

By Nasser MahmoudPublished about a year ago 4 min read

I am now working on getting a new certification.

Over time, I have completed a significant number of these tasks.

LinkedIn reports 20+!

I'm always starting something new in my life.

I understand that many people have a hard time with this, though.

Knowing when to start something new.

Finishing them.

Crossing the finish line.

I can see why that would be so challenging.

To be new is to change.

It's hard to change.

Our goal is consistency.

There is change that is inconsistent.

This, However.

Our lives do still require change.

Something "Will" change.

whether or not on our terms.

How can we determine "when" to start something new, then?

There are a few things to consider.

Energy Mg-ATP is probably the biggest consideration.

Energy Mg-ATP is what gets anything new going.

It's that simple.

You won't do anything without energy Mg-ATP.

Like a car that doesn't have gas.

You won't get very far.

Therefore, start by ramping up your energy.

Build it up.

Cut out the things that drain energy from you.

It will be easier to take on new things when there is more energy available.

What else must we consider?

Do you "Want" anything positive and new?

If you have the energy and if the answer is yes, then go!

A whole lot of people ask the wrong question.

Any Thing New I May Expect?

Here's the fact.

You'll never be "ready".

There are a few ways this could happen.

It could be due to self-esteem.

When our self-esteem is low, we seldom "feel" ready.

It could also be a matter of believing in the new thing.

That's where the bug is.

Confidence comes with doing,

thru experience.

At first nobody's ever confident.

Don't use that as an excuse to delay starting.

But this also creates a subconscious problem.

balance.

Our bodies need homeostasis in energy, magnesium, and ATP.

Anything new has the chance of "disturbing" that balance.

This, though it causes "alarm" in our bodies, is not a "bad" thing.

This "alarm" makes your body subconsciously give you "reasons" for not being able to start today.

The timing isn't right.

Later, after I do this, maybe.

It will be "better" next week, month, or year.

Are "Any" of them, however, true?

No, 99 percent of the time.

Being "Ready" is not something you should depend on since you'll probably "Never" feel ready.

But do you "Want" anything positive and new?

The majority of people "know" when their lives are not going as planned.

What You "Want" You "Know"

What You "Need" You "Know"

So, get it!

It is time to cease the excuses that have you saying no.

Your goals are worth taking action for.

Now it is time to begin the new programs that will bring value to your life.

Under what circumstances do we start a new project?

When the circumstance necessitates we start doing so.

I see it all too often where leaders fail in this.

Their "Way" is different.

It does cease to function.

And they continue to act in the same manner.

when their organizations are not growing.

Progress is going in reverse.

when the money is running out.

Why?

They have failed to adapt to the changed circumstances.

no matter how "Bright" you are.

howsoever "gifted" you are.

No matter how much "Success" you have experienced in the past.

Finally.

Circumstances change.

You will begin to fail if you do not take new action as the circumstances change.

It could be sudden.

Maybe its "Painfully" slow.

However, it will continue to deteriorate.

Conclusion

What was working in the "past" does not keep on working as the circumstances change.

Try Something Different.

There's a new opportunity to start something anew.

Every day, each day.

Herein lies the greatest advantage.

Personally, I don't believe one needs to change "everything" in a single night.

A "dramatic" change isn't necessary.

But you need to do something different each day.

Why?

Habit.

Human beings "seldom" face something new, and that's one of the reasons they can't do anything new.

Human beings fear what they can't see.

You won't be able to "Start" anything new if you never "see" anything new.

But, for instance, let's say you see new things "every" day?

It becomes a friend.

An ally.

Something to look forward to.

And herein, there is even another benefit.

Energy.

Your body adapts to "Experiencing" new things as you show the body new things daily .

No longer does the body fear the new.

Our bodies use up energy Mg-ATP when we fear something.

In that case, you can stop the leakage of valuable energy and overcome fear just by exposing yourself to novelty.

Your body "Expects" novelty as it finally becomes a habit.

It then "Seeks" for novelty.

This is a feature of flow states in which we feel and perform at our highest level.

It is known as "Novelty" by the scientists.

But it is just that novelty which lures us into flow states.

A "Flow Trigger."

You prime your body for flow states each day by actively pursuing novelty.

It's in this moment of our life that magic happens.

Where in your life do you need to start something new?

Today.

Now,

Bring to conscious awareness the energy, magnesium and ATP that you have been gifted today.

Focus on what is different, and what you do want.

Will You Create Something New Today?
