What Do You Owe Yourself?

I owe myself to be forever grateful, to show gratitude for the many tiny things many take for granted, and not to be hateful.

We owe ourselves so much. These are a few of the stuff I own myself.

I am alive. I owe myself to live a good, clean, and honest life without adding anything cruel and hateful to humanity.

By living the goodness I want without vanity.

I owe myself to be forever grateful, showing gratitude for the many tiny things many take for granted.

I owe gratitude to the earth for feeding me and allowing me to live and be healthy — gratitude for life and living.

I owe it to myself to be innovative and creative as I find ways to handle life's difficulties. Then, I can show others how.

I owe myself to be strong. That’s the only way I will find out where I truly belong.

I owe myself kindness and return it because it has saved my life many times. I want your kindness. So, you will get mine. I owe it to myself because, without kindness, humanity will cease to exist.

I owe myself wisdom, and with it comes knowledge to be and do better, helping to make our world a good place.

I owe myself understanding. With an understanding of life and living, I can show empathy towards every human enduring the hell some humans share. By giving understanding, I can heal and help a heart in pain who needs a teaspoon of understanding. Then, life will pay me back when I need some of what I give.

I owe myself peace to live and get along with everyone without regard to race.

I owe myself hope, like a sunrise, to share with the earth.

I owe myself unity because that’s the safest way for us to live in our homes and communities.

I owe myself love. If I can’t love myself, how will I be able to love you? How will I be able to know and appreciate the love and kindness I receive so that I can share it with humanity?

I owe myself honesty. Without honesty, our world is lost in permanent darkness.

I owe myself the truth. With the truth, we can achieve so much. The truth can free us and bring us peace and unity. Knowledge of the truth makes certain decisions easier.

I owe myself forgiveness. I know I will need yours when I make a mistake.

I owe myself to be wise. With wisdom, my life decisions will carry me and my generation further, providing us with the tools to add positivity to our world and benefit humanity long after we are gone.

I owe myself the best, and then I can give my best to you and our world through my actions, choices, decisions, intentions, ideas, thoughts, ways, means, and whys.

I don’t think I owe myself to make mistakes, but I do because that’s the only way I will learn. Mistakes are lessons for me.

I owe myself balance because life demands it. It hurts, but learning life lessons that strengthen and prepare us for life is necessary.

I owe myself happiness. It’s a right and a choice. I can give more to you and our world when I am happy.

I owe myself success after lessons learned from my many failures. With success, I can help many others.

I owe myself more as I learn from life to be a better human being, intending to improve my world.

What do you owe yourself?

If your heart could speak, what would it say?

To make my world a better place.
