I am a certified personal trainer as well as a certified nutritionist. As someone who in constanly roaming Instagram and all all social media platforms, I have seen every fad diet there is. By fad diets I mean, "low carb," "no carb," low fat," " IF.," and so on. There are so many "diets" out there there it's almost impossible for the general population to gather the correct information when it comes to losing weight.

Here's the deal, I will explain how to lose weight the correct way. This is simple, but it doesn't always mean that it will be simple. First, I want you to stop listneing to every, single social media "influencer," and follow the information that is scientifically proven will work. That being said, in order to lose weight/body fat, one needs to be in a calorie deficit (burning more calories than you are consuming). Do not fight me, do not argue with me, do not even think about sharing this story and telling others there is another way to lose weight because there isn't.

All of the diets you see floating around, lookin' like magic, are clearly sales tactics to steal your money. Knowledge is much more powerful than scorlling through the gram', trying to find out the easiest way to lose weight and instead of losing the weight, you end up losing your money. Drinking "fit tea," does not equate to burning more caloires than you are consuming. The solution to weight loss is to move more (get your steps in, aim for 8-10k/day), strength train, walk, run, just find what works for you and what you enjoy.

Once again, in order to lose weight, you have to burn more calories than you are cosuming throughout the day. This means that the numeric caloire consumption should be less than the caloires you are bunring. A great way to find that number is to first get in touch with a professional. If you are someone who wants to figure things out on your own, I would suggest that you start MOVING. If you are obsese and need to contact your physician before starting a strength training program, please do so.

You can start this journey as soon as today. Move more, eat less. Once again, this is easier said than done for some people, I want to make that clear, but that is truly the answer to weight loss. There are a lot of "diets" that you can get hooked up on, but what all of those diets have in common is "caloire deficit." When you participate in a low-carb or no-carb diet, you are eliminating a macronutrient which, therefore, puts your body into a caloire deifict and you will lose weight. The key word here is calorie deficit, NOT low carb. You can still lose weight eating carbs. If anyone tells you otherwise, question their ass on the spot with "well, if eliminating carbs is the answer to weight loss, I guess that means more fat for me since carbs is what makes me fat." HA. If not eating carbs was the answer, we would all be screwed because we would find another way to eat more food.

If you are still not losing weight, you are not in a caloire deficit. Start tracking what you're eating. Scan and track your food into Myfitnesspal if you need to. This will help you visually see how many calories you're eating in a day, where the majority of your caloires are coming from (liquids, oils, carbs, fats) and whether or not you're overeating.

You have to put in the work in order to see results. There are no quick gimmicks or fit teas when it comes to losing weight. Stop following the sheep! Start moving, get in the gym, starting lifting weights to build muscle, go on walks or runs, or whatever makes your soul happy and get moving.

Have a happy day!

I appreciate any tips as I am giving out no bull shit information for the fitness industry from here on out! If you'd like more info, tip please.
