Triumphant

The road that is Won..

Life is what you make it, and your purpose is a story of trials and tribulations that got you to that moment. But what is not clear is how the journey is set and how to get on the right path to follow. There are chess moves that can cause your best moves, but certain moves could be the wrong move. Ultimately, it is up to you on how well those moves are played to beat the enemy of time.

The biggest motivations are of the rope at the end of the line, the road that leads you back on track amid the lost jungle, the peace at the end of heartache, the strength at the end of a cleared diagnosis, and the fight that gave you courage at the end of every battle of life you've had to fight reaching your purpose. That is what is meant when someone is called Triumphant. The dreamers that know they are winners, and therefore take that leap of faith, those that never had a chance to speak up, shout with rejoice that their moment has finally come. The warriors who risked it all and put their lives on the line to make a difference and change the world are Triumphant.

It takes strength and courage to hold our own amid defeat, but it takes our hearts and our faith to become the best versions of ourselves and to stand tall through it all. Triumphant is not a word that describes a person, it describes a person and their actions. In the middle of what looks like uncertainty, I find myself looking to God for help. The nights I have spent worrying and wondering how will I get through this in the dark behind closed doors, are many.

Showing my son that I am more than these problems is my legacy and I was not born to quit. No matter how tough life has gotten, I am still breathing like a champion, and I am still fighting like a champion, and I know that I can never give up. Triumphant is expressed inside of me, and I can see the victory in defeat. No matter the losses, I keep moving, I keep reaching and my vision starts becoming more clear. I believe my biggest reflection is my child and I see that same spirit within him every day of his life. Being his example of love and attentiveness is the best thing that I can show him.

When you let that negative action consume how you live, it becomes you. The hardest thing about falling is understanding how to get backup and stay positive through the storm. I am the hero my son looks to and I am the strength that he needs. I focus my mind and my heart these days on making sure that what I once felt is not the picture that my son sees as he grows. My fight is my way out and my efforts give my son a chance in this world.

It is not an easy road but it does hold a lot of hurdles. My story like others, still is a story of self-discovery and a lot of growth. Finding a voice when I felt ridiculed, trying to find a way out of a situation that was not healthy, and letting go of what I thought I needed became the best peace that I have been given. I continue to walk along the cleared road, and take another breath of life, walking in my purpose and resilience and for that I will continue to be forever, Triumphant.
