Are You That Snorlax Blocking Your Own Path?
Heyo guys! If you have ever played or watched Pokemon in your life, you might have realized what I'm talking about here. There is this giant Snorlax which sleeps in the middle of the road, blocking the path; and if you are playing it for the first time, then like me, you might have had no clue what to do, but you totally want to capture it... sorry to be the bearer of the bad news, but it's not gonna happen (unless you play some more and get a flute).

3 Morning Routine Must Do's
The words "morning routine" are all the buzz in the world of personal development these days. The most successful people are locked into their morning routines, and claim it is an important component of their success. People become obsessed with the morning routine of the successful people they look up to, but morning routines are not something that can be copied to achieve success. Morning routines need to be a personal journey for you in order for them to become a meaningful part of your day. However, there are three consistent actions that are required to help you start your day with success.

What Acting Taught Me
For me, acting always served a very specific purpose. When I first started, I couldn't have been more than 5 or 6, it was for pure, innocent joy. Relentless pleading from their boisterous and self-assured child left my parents with little choice, but to enroll me in acting classes. Then, around 12, my hobby turned into a career. This career would fill my days with acting classes and auditions. Days turned into years. There would be the occasional triumph, those fortunate moments when working meant going to set and earning a paycheck. But more often than not, working meant class, practice, audition, repeat. It wasn't until more recently in life, when the realities of adulthood brought forth new and unfamiliar experiences, that it came to serve yet another distinct purpose.

Four Steps to Unshakable Self-Confidence
We've all felt the sting of being let down, frustrated, unfulfilled, or not quite good enough in our lives and relationships. I have been guilty of having unrealistic expectations of others, wanting them to shower me with compliments, approval, and validation, sometimes even trying to control situations or outcomes in an attempt to get what I thought would make me feel good. It was a painful, exhausting way to live.

You Develop from the Negatives
I began my career as a professional photographer well before the digital age. It was a time when photos were captured by using film. The camera itself worked pretty much the same as they do now, but instead of recording pixels on a microchip, the camera used "film," a chemical surface that captures the light as it enters through the camera lens.

How to Digitally Detox
If I told you that you would lose all electricity and access to the internet for 24 hours, how would you feel? If you’re anything like me, your heart skips a tiny beat. But what if I miss an important work email? What if something bad happens and I need to call for help? What if I can’t share the experience on social media?

Fear's Favorite Food
Facing fear is something we have all had to deal with. The fear to do ... The fear not to do ... The fear of success ... The fear of failure ... We all face different fears in our life. Yet there are ways in which we either increase or diminish our fears. We don't have to let them control us but this can very much be the case. Often we find that, if we are not careful, we may end up strengthening the very things are afraid of.

Don’t Avoid Having a Vision
Over the last few days, I have really been digging through old notebooks and going back to the plan that I created for my work this year (instead of making six more plans lol 🙃). Last year, I did the exact opposite of this. I spent a lot of time second guessing whether or not I had the right thing to say or share. Can you relate? There’s something that you want to accomplish or create in your life/work but it feels like you spend more time planning the vision than acting on it. No shame at all. I’ve been there. You’re not alone. And I also want you to cut yourself some slack. Even in my uncertainty, I still found myself growing. And I know the same is true for you. The reality is there were some days where my analysis got the best of me, but the next day I got myself into a creating groove.

The Power of Habit
December is an interesting month for most of the modern world as people get together with their families, eat a surplus amount of food, and exchange gifts or perform other religious acts. This holiday is quickly followed by an entire week of shopping deals, in which people are likely to participate considering they are still in the "money-spending mood."
