The typical sentence : "stress will kill you" .

How are you coping with stress ?

For me personally, I did not cope very well for the majority of my life.

Only when I hit rock bottom I realised that things must change in my life.

Then I started to put myself first , opposite of the common knowledge I became not selfish I became shelfful.

I introduced simple techniques in my daily life that not only helped me to cope a lot better with the stress, but make me feel more joy and happiness.

Pain in life is mandatory but suffering is optional; the first time I hear that sentence it make me realise that yes ,we have a choice we definitely can choose on what we focus in what we put our attention.

Then I decided to focus on the good things and let go of the things that don't go that well.

A simple list of 10 things every morning that I am grateful for. This practice changed my life!

Because it is impossible to feel gratitude and feel something else at the same time.

Just try it ! I dare you to do it for 10 days and see the results for yourself because being honest if we really look we have a lot of things to be grateful for, even right now I am grateful for the cup of coffee that I am drinking while I am writing.

"Wherever our attention goes energy flows and results show " Tony Robbins

I love this quote, it is so real because if we CHOOSE to focus in the negative things that happens to us not only in the present also in the past and even in the unknown future, what kind of results you think you will have?

Stress, anxiety , depression those are the results and that was me for long time.

learning to let go of the things that I cannot control , let go of the past and consciously focus on the good shifted my life and created a more positive and content mind.

It is true that the external circumstances play a big part in our lives but that is why sometimes we need the peace that there is within us. Yes in you too!

The narrative of the society is go ,do, work hard and work harder ,not to STOP.

THAT IS THE KILLER!

Maybe we cannot change the world that we living in straight away but we individually can stop ,breath ,relax, stop thinking or overthinking and go inside.

Meditation is another coping mechanism that I dare to say that it is essential for our well being ,it is a complete tool that can create a balance between mind ,body and spirit.

The results I am having in my physical body right now from these practices are miraculous, my body is healing for health conditions that I had from years, my mind is not in that rushed mode of overthinking and I feel the calmness of my spirit.

Life still difficult at times but having these tool, using these tools give me another perspective of life; a much positive one.

The last activity that I recommend is movement, our bodies are made to move, it is not only good for our physical body, it is also good for the mind; exercise reduces the levels of the body's stress hormones, producing endorphins and making us feel happy.

I always like to do some kind of exercise because I feel good afterwards recently less than a year, I introduced yoga into my life and I am loving it! The combination of stretches and breathing through yoga routines will increase your flexibility and also calm your mind.

The final thing is always remember to smile ,not because life has been easy, perfect or exactly as you had anticipated; but because you choose to be happy and grateful for all the good things you do, and all the problems you know you do not have.
