This is a Sign Your Life has Meaning
A Word of Encouragement to Those Feeling Lost

Reflecting on my upbringing, I realize God left clues as to what to accomplish during my time on Earth. At this point in my life, I can confidently say I am more aware of my identity than ever. Identity simplifies into two paths; who you want to be and who you're created to be. After a life of unfulfillment, I discovered who I'm created to be is undoubtedly the better choice. I came to this life-altering conclusion through thought-provoking questions, research, and ultimately allowing God to fill in the gaps my logic brain could not comprehend.
My search for identity began with the overarching question how do you know who you're created to be? To successfully answer the question above I unpacked a sub question who created humankind? Indeed, this question has been the catalyst of conflict between evolutionists and creationists for decades in today's society. I'm not here to debate, only to examine my findings. Following extensive research, I concluded that the formation of human life from the God of the Bible is the only logical explanation for four reasons:
- Modern science confirms Genesis 2:7 and Isaiah 64:8. In 2013, research by Cornell University stated, “clay hydrogel [clay and water] has the capacity for complex reactions that form proteins, DNA and eventually all the machinery that makes a living cell work. Further research in February 2022 confirmed the findings of 2013 and supported the original 1966 "Clay Theory of Life." Equally important, it is a scientific fact the human body comprises 60% water.
- There is no origin for the one universal ancestor. If we came from one universal ancestor, as evolution claims, then where did the one ancestor come from? Darwin himself understood," there was no explanation of how such an ancestral entity had first evolved," and "his theory left untouched the question of spontaneous generation. In other words, the evolution theory facilitates an endless cycle of insoluble questions.
- The complete process of hydrogel to living cells is yet understood by science. I believe this is where the supernatural power of God comes in; he's the missing link. "[God's] ways are higher than [our] ways, and his thoughts are higher than [our] thoughts," as stated in Isaiah 55:8-9. There will never be a level of human intellect that is able to explain the fullness of creation as we are not the creator. Instead of tirelessly trying to solve a supernatural phenomenon I summarized it as the Lord God being the Lord God.
- Humans were created separately from animals. Animals were created in Genesis 1:25. Humankind was created in the image of God as male and female in Genesis 1:27. This explains the origins of human uniqueness, such as morality, intellect, creativity, and spirituality.
Once I understood that the God of the Bible is the creator of mankind, I began researching, "If God created mankind, then what was mankind created for?" Nevertheless, The answer was astounding. Mankind was created to:
- Rule over the Earth, including the plants and animals.
- Steward the Earth by bringing the material world and all its varied elements into the service of God for the Glory of God and the good of mankind.
With my newfound knowledge, I yearned to study the Bible more in-depth. While studying, I gained a perspective about God that contradicted the ideas taught in popular media. God is no longer scary to me or an unjust entity that took away the good things in life. I now understand him as a loving father who wanted the best for his children. Everything he did had a good purpose, and he was the originator of proper parenting.
Moreover, God made each of his children; fearfully and wonderfully. He knew us before we were formed in our mother's womb and predestined a plan to prosper us, not to harm us. In his words, God promised, "never to leave or forsake [us." To clarify, he will never fail or abandon us. God is a compassionate father, slow to anger, abounding in love. Not only is he a father to the fatherless but full of integrity; he does not lie or change his mind like human beings. Ultimately, as a loving father; and merciful creator, his plans for our lives will prevail.
Because I understood God for myself, I explored the question: If I have a God ordained purpose, how do I find it? Romans 8:28 says, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." What stood out to me the most in that verse was" for the good of those who love him." In most cases, you don't love someone right off the back. Love is a relationship that's nurtured and cultivated, similar to a seed that grows over time. I learned a relationship with God starts with inviting him into your life, just like any other relationship. Furthermore being made in God's image means having the choice to choose God. God is love and love does not force itself on you. Although he’s always here, it's up to each individual to have a relationship with him.
Thus I began seeking the answers to my purpose by inviting God into my life. I asked God into my life by confessing with my mouth his son Jesus Christ is Lord, as he is the only way to the father. Also, I believed in my heart that he was crucified and resurrected so I could have a relationship with God the father. Salvation is a free gift from God through his grace and faith in his son Jesus Christ. If you are like me, in need of a savior from the life you are living, seeking your true purpose, and would like to invite God into your life, here's a link to a salvation prayer. You don't have to do anything extra, just pray where ever you are, and you will experience the presence of God in your life.
Once I accepted Jesus Christ, my life changed for the better. God forgave my sins and began to restore the time I lost following the wrong path. Was it easy? Absolutely not. First, I had to repent and let go of things that no longer served me. Then I had to self-reflect and truthfully admit to God and myself that I was a sinner. Sin means to miss the mark. And I missed it a lot; I tried to be someone I wasn’t. I did things I knew were wrong but chose not to listen to my conscious, which I discovered is God's spirit guiding you on the right path.
Although my journey has not been easy, it's the best decision ever. I found found freedom. God healed the wounds of my past; gave me peaceand wisdom. In addition to wisdom, I gained a fresh wind of creativity because God was the original creative. He revealed that my purpose is to help creatives understand the creator using various art forms. Moreover, God showed me howto use the gifts he gave me to succeed in my purpose and directed me to the people he placed on the Earth to help me with my destiny. I now make time to study scripture so I can better know the mind of God and how to apply his word to my life.
To bring everything full circle, I can attest that roughly a year later, everything works out for the good of those who love him and are called according to his purposes. My story is unique; I found God not through religion but through discovery and relationship. As a result, I learned peoplegive Jesus a bad reputation by their actions and misrepresentation. In fact, it has nothing to do with God but everything to do with man's choices and lack of understanding. God is always good.
Regardless of what I write today, you will learn the truthwhen you get to know God on your own through reading the bible and your relationship with the father. For anyone feeling lost today, know your life has meaning. He chose you, loved you first, and the world needs the gifts God put inside you.
Feel free to comment below. This is a safe space where zero hate will be tolerated. Again, I'm not here to debate; not everybody believes in Jesus, and that's ok. You are loved anyway. Also, If you are having a tough time and would like prayer, don't hesitate to comment. Lastly, if you accepted Jesus Christ as your savior today, p lease comment so I can send you further resources to help you along your journey.
Peace be with you.
