The Spirit of a Spiritual bath

I've always been a girl who enjoyed the warmth of a bubbly soul soak for hours in a tub. The fluidity of the water swirling around me, help to release my mind for its many daily engagements. But never on earth or this lifetime did I thing I would discover the paramount importance that bathing would play in my life and the lives of others. Long gone are the days of thinking that bath time is just to be enjoyed by children. Or that the only benefit one could derive from bathing was to be cleansed. Over the last year and half, I've come to believe that bathing is so much more, a power tool for connect, spiritual expansion and growth.

My journey to enlightenment began over a year ago when after suffering spiritual ascension symptoms I sought a way to ease my discomfort and release energetic baggage to facilitate in aiding the process of awakening. I was called to the Ocean when in New York visiting my grandchildren. Like some magical call, Mama Wata or what I came to find out later was the Goddess Yemaya summoned me to the seat of her throne the Atlantic Ocean. Her salty waters offered a spiritual cleanse so deep and effective it changed my life forever. She eased my physical symptoms and offered emotional and spiritual comfort along the way.

In exchange for her support, she asked just one thing, to do for others what she had done for me. And it was in the bath after a nice long soak to remove the remnants of the ocean from me that I received my first download of spiritual insight. It hit me like a lightning bolt when I stepped out of the bath tub, the vivid image of her spiritual bath bomb. So beautiful, that could gracefully represent the majesty of this majestic Ocean Deity, an African Orisha. I felt unworthy of being the vessel she would utilize to touch the masses. And so inadequate to even bring this creation to birth.

A fire had been lit in my soul and I began the painstaking task of research to etch the imagery out of my head into the physical world. My research led me to the science of Balneotherapy the science of using water to heal. And the realization that science often is the late comer to the wisdom of the Universe. the world of water therapy unfolded and gave me a wonderful initiation into the ranks of what I call “water workers” or modern-day Mermaids. I would like to note that Mama Wata is said to be a mermaid, creatures known to assist those in need from the watery deep.

Coupling the science of Balneotherapy and holistic practices gave birth to the most beautiful bath bomb spiritual tool that I personally have ever seen.
