The Shift

There is a Shift unfolding before our very eyes all over the planet. What Shift you may ask? Have you not noticed the change in our financial and medical institutions, in our educational system, our shopping experiences, even in the way we do church! There is a Shift taking place that is affecting every area of our life!

Plainly stated a Shift is a change in something. Or an adjustment in the way something is done. It can also mean to put something aside and replace it with something else. It could also mean for instance, if you’ve been nursing a dream for 40 years and it has not materialized maybe you need to analyze what you’re doing, make adjustment or even replace it with something else.

As this Shift reveals itself to us, our position, our standing, who we are; and who we’re becoming; it does matter a lot. Especially with our creator. I’m affected, you’re affected, no matter what our position we’re all affected by The Shift, like it or not, for good or for bad.

Is there anything good to say about The Shift? The wonderful thing is we all literally get to choose how we want to position ourselves as the shift unfolds. Can I share a poem with you written in the early 1900’s by a man named Walter D. Wintles. It’s titled,

The Man Who Thinks He Can

If you think you’re beaten, you are.

If you think you dare not, you don’t.

If you like to win but you think you can’t,

It’s almost certain, you won’t.

If you think you’ll lose, you’ve lost.

In this life we find that success begins with a person’s will.

It’s all in the state of mind.

If you think you are outclassed, you are.

You’ve got to think high to rise.

You’ve gotta be sure of yourself,

before you can ever win a prize.

Life’s battles don’t always go to

the strongest or the fastest person.

But sooner or later, the person who wins,

is the person who thinks they can.

Choice

We do get to choose how, where and when we will be positioned as The Shift unfolds.

Never in the history of our planet have we been confronted with such chaos, such crisis, or such challenge. For some of us, I mimic what someone has aptly said; this shifting “has inspired the emergence of the best of our spiritual nature and serves as the catalyst to break apart the constrictive mold society attempts to place us in.”

The time for playing it small has ended! These times offer us as creators and co-creators the opportunity to morph into that creation we want to be and were meant to be.

Take a chance! Harmonize with creation and everything prospers. Prosperity arranges the opportunity to take center stage. Life is great at center stage. Now step up and step out.

Now is not the time to be arrogant or impulsive. However, we are unreservedly, unapologetically who we are. And we thoroughly understand that possessing a noble character is “not a matter of favor or chance, but it is the natural result of continued effort in right thinking and the expected effect of long-cherished association with wholesome thoughts.”

In the building and construction profession they use a plumb line to see if something is straight and to determine correctness or accuracy when future calculations are needed. The plumb line doesn’t argue or change or move with the whims of the carpenter. but it remains true, and all work must line up with the plumb line or risk being crooked. My father once said that The Good Book is our plumb line. It tells us if we’re straight or whether we’re a little off to the right or the left. Now is an excellent time to seek out analytical tools that may help us determine whether we’re on the mark or not.

Our position, what life is handing back to us, is being forged in the crucible of divine principles and the crucible of our daily living. Because we honor our creator, this means we honor the truth of others, while not compromising or surrendering our own soul truths. This also means we are authentic and transparent in our relationships and we are honest and true about how we really feel. Don’t be put off if many don’t get it yet.

Meanwhile force yourself to understand and recognize how, why, and when life is using people, places, and things to accomplish its purposes. “Be encouraged when you find positive feedback from persons of like minds. Let their kindred spirits help motivate and animate who you are. Appreciate the smiles on these people’s faces, the knowing twinkle in their eyes or else in synchronicity through the call of a bird, the words in a song or the sign on a billboard.” Recognize that this is creation using people, places, and things to accomplish its great purpose. These pandemic times are challenging for sure but successful people are also forged in the crucible of great challenge. Never in human history, has there been such a need, such a compulsion for the aligned seekers of righteousness to arise. This shifting is calling forth the spirit of excellence in us all!

The Price

There are some people who only see the apparent effects of things and not the things themselves. in other words, they see your successes, but they have no clue what you had to go through to get your blessing. These types of people may just think you’re lucky. They think life revolves around luck, games of chance, and fortune. But what they don’t realize are the failures, the struggles, and the trials that you voluntarily encountered for you to embark on your arduous journey. They only see your pleasant outcome and this they call good fortune! But They don’t understand the process. They see the results and they call it chance. ”

Listen! Let’s set the record straight! “In all human affairs, there are efforts and there are results. The strength of your effort, determines the measure of your result.”

Spiritually speaking, the level of the effort you make in building a relationship with your conscious and sub-conscious mind becomes an outward show on you. It is the result of; it is the how and why you experience the successes you do. It’s not chance. It’s not luck.

The well-known story in a parable of the talents is a beautiful story illustrative of this truth; that when what creation gives you is multiplied or perfected it brings honor and promotion. The parable plainly shows that “if we degrade, misuse or neglect that which we possess be it ever so insignificant; even that little will be taken from us; for by our conduct, we show that we are unworthy of it.”

There is a Shift taking place. Begin to look for open doors. Doors that have been closed to you in the past. Things have shifted. The dream you had to write a book, start a new business, or go back to college; it may not have happened the first time but that’s okay. It’s prepared you for this time. Don’t give up. This is a new day. Things have shifted. Pursue your dream again. It will happen this time.

A Shift is taking place. Suddenly; finally; things are changing in your favor. You say you’ve done all you know to do. Remember! Someone may change their mind just for you. A closed door can suddenly swing wide open just for you. “The no’s can turn into yeses and the not now turns into it’s your time.” What happened? The Shift is taking place.

Now try this. “Be friendly towards others and watch friends flock round you. Make yourself lovable and pure and you will be loved by all. Send forth loving, stainless, and happy thoughts, and blessings will fall into your hands, and your table will be spread with the cloth of peace. Send forth hateful, impure, and unhappy thoughts and curses will rain down upon you and fear and unrest will wait upon your pillow.”

“Every moment we are sending forth the influences which will make or mar our life. Each of us is the unconditional maker of our fate whatever that fate may be. ”

“Today we are where our thoughts have taken us, and we are the architects - for better or worse - of our futures. Let your heart grow large and loving and unselfish, and great and lasting will be your life. ”

Our universe is an orderly universe. Order brings promotion. This is the order for continued positive outcomes as The Shift continues.
