The sound of blaring horns, and sirens awakened Yemanja from her sleep. She had been living in a small attic at her uncles for about a month now. Unfortunate situations is what landed her here. She’d planned to move to Miami, on the coast, in a studio apartment. Her Dreams consisted of, walking along the beach feeling the warm breezing and scent of the salted water. She’d planned to travel, with her neon pink bicycle with Golden spoke tires she had envisioned many times. Yemanja was only 21 and very new to the busy and fast paced adult world. Something about the water and beach had always eased her and comforted her. Snapping from her day dream Yemanja remembered she had an interview at 9:30am that morning, it was already 8:45am. She hurried to get dressed, all while dreading the thought of working for someone.
At heart, Yemanja was always and entrepreneur. She loved making her own way in the world, and being free. Freedom is something that Yemanja truly valued. It was her piece of mind, her why, and the reason she was always happy and free spirited. Working for someone is something that took away from her freedom filled spirit. As she climbed the steps to a hug 5 story Gray building, she noticed a huge clock that read 5:55, this was really confusing to Yemanja because her phone read 9:20am. Hmph she said that’s odd, how can that be.
As she walked in to building and checked in, the receptionist told her to go to room 555 and wait for someone to come in and interview her. Again she said to herself 555. It had graced her morning twice. Yemanja was very intuitive, and always believed things held a meaning. She was just about to pull up Google and search the meaning, but a tall dark guy walked in. He spoke to her and shook her hand firmly while not breaking eye contact. This was something Yemanja learned from her whirl of interviews in the past, so she kept eye contact. He asked her name and she told him “My name is Yemanja”, he then stated wow that’s a very strong name, you’re named after the Orisha Yemaya, the Goddess of the Sea. This was the first time she’d heard this, and she was definitely going to research that to.
After the interview it was obvious that she had scored the job, the tall dark man then proceeded to off her the job. Something had caught her attention, 555 again. This time it was a poster of a band. It was odd because she’d never heard of it. Again she was bamboozled.
The tall dark man called Yemanja’s name and she turned around. He then proceeded to ask, “Would you like to accept the job, I can get you started tomorrow?” She answered “Yes, that would be great”. “Awesome”, the tall dark man said, “Here is a employee welcome gift, we like to give.” He reached her an Small Black Notebook. The book was very shiny and pretty actually, although it was plain something about it stood out. She opened it, and felt a rush of energy she couldn’t explain. The pages had golden lines instead of the normal blue lines notebook paper normally has. They glistened under the light as she flipped through them. “Thanks” she said. “You’re quite welcome”, the tall dark man said. “You start tomorrow, see you bright and early at 8:00am”. “See you then, and thanks so much.”
Yemanja then went back to her attic she called home. Eager to learn the things she had encountered during the day, she pulled up Google. After her researched she was shocked. It all maked sense now, why she loved the water so much, and 555 meaning big life changes. While researching she also learned a lot a lot manifesting and, the writing down of goals. She wipped out her pen and her Small Black Notebook, and began writing her dream of living in Miami and her neon pink bike, with the gold spoke rims. Once she was done she looked over at the clock, and noticed 5:55pm.
Shocked and more driven than ever, Yemanja then saw a commercial for the lottery for tomorrow evening. It was a grand prized for 20,000. She thought to herself, that is more than enough to complete my move. Excited and confidently she looked around at her attic room, and thought I’m truly thankful to have somewhere to live, a roof over my head, food, clothes, and able to walk to wherever I need. Then she proceeded to see herself in Miami on the beach in front of her studio apartment. Her neon pink bike standing against the rail, all was well and life was good. She then snapped back into reality and headed to the store.
Once she got to the store it was crowded and busy like always. Everyone was buying the tickets for tomorrow’s drawing. Once she got to the counter, the clerk asked “How can I help you?” Yemanja said I’d like to purchase a Rich Wonders lottery ticket”, the clerk then asked, which numbers would you like, Yemanja said “555”.
Once she got to her attic room, she pulled out her Black Notebook and wrote, I won the Rich Wonders jackpot for 20,000. She smiled and showed gratitude for the money she did have, and then envisioned herself $20,000 richer. And she fell asleep while doing so. When Yemanja woke up it was 5:55 am, she smiled and decided to get up and start her day. She pulled out her Black Notebook, read all her dreams, and the wrote out her to do list for the day.
By the time she was done with her morning task it was time to go into work. Normally Yemanja would dread the workday, but today she was really upbeat and grateful to have a job. That meant she was closer to her dream. The workday went by pretty fast and before she knew it, it was time to go home. The Rich Wonders lottery drawing wasn’t until 8:00pm so she decided to go by the lake to sit and relax. An old lady was sitting in the park next to the lake, she was feeding the ducks. Yemanja decided to go over and say Hello. The lady looked at Yemanja, and smiled, she was brown skinned, with light brown eyes, her hair was curly around the edges and was brushed into a neat ponytail with a blue hair tie. She said to Yemanja, “A beautiful soul indeed, and you’ll have really soon all that you need”. She then brushed her hand across Yemanja’s cheek and proceeded to walk off. Yemanja looked down at the bench the lady was sitting on and noticed she left something. It looked really familiar to her, a small Black Notebook. She then looked up to let the lady know she had left it, but the lady had literally vanished. This was shocking to Yemanja because there was no way she could’ve walked away that fast.
It was time for the drawing for Rich Wonders, Yemanja pulled out her phone and streamed the live drawing. As she was waiting she noticed something in the distance coming her way, 5 geese in the shape of a V flew over her. She then looked down at the phone and noticed the numbers had been drawn. And wave of excitement over took her and the numbers read, 555. The $20,000 jackpot was all hers. She opened the small Black Notebook and put a check mark next to the goal she’d manifested just that fast. She then looked at the lady’s Black Notebook and opened it. In pink ink with the time stamp 1111, it wrote, with this Black Notebook I’ve Manifested the life I’ve always desired. Yemanja then looked at her own Black Notebook and thought it must be Magic.
