Ever feel so defeated by the smallest thing in the world. A bad grade or a small mistake at the workplace. These things keep you second-guessing yourself. Am I good enough for this position? That moment that hits you hard. You try not to cry about it but inside you are dying. These thoughts feel like the rocks in your shoes. The little rocks are there to destruct you from that moment of achieving anything. They allow destruction to take over your mind. But if you let the rocks do so. The thoughts get you to the stage you feel numb and you can’t see any way out of the situation. They stop at every moment of the day.

Think about this and that. These thoughts stop you from progressing throughout the day. The thoughts keep your mind running the whole day. You have a choice between letting the thoughts take over or not. Look at the positive side of the day. Reflection of the day is good. Sit back a look at how the day actually went. The positive can out weight the negative. Sometimes the positive can be the answer to the negative. Reflect on why you love doing what you love. Reflection can be anything you enjoy, from reading a book, going for a walk, or listening to music on your way home or anything of the day.

The chance to do something or be able to be the person you are in that place. The little rocks are there to stop us from being who we are meant to be. Don't spend your time looking at the negative but look at the positive. Yes, the day could have gone better but what you change at the moment will help you loads. The things you change at the moment will become the moments you will treasure in life. Moments are the things that suck to use for a long time. The moments that will change the outlook of life.

These moments we share with others have a laugh and stories to tell. These moments all came from that one time where you are so focused on what could have been done better. But you choose to look at the positive side of the day. Let's not allow the thoughts to take over our day or mind. Let the small moment become a lesson to learn or memory to care for the rest of our days. Found a hobby that will help you calm down and enjoy every moment. Pick up a hobby that will make you look forward to the end of the day.

Looking back on the day is looking back to the moments that have changed and shaped you as a person. Reflection can look different to you and me, but it is a good way to acknowledge the moments. The thoughts do become the rocks in your shoes if you choose them to be. Don't let these thoughts be the rocks that are suck in the shoes of your life, but focus on the moments that mean a lot to you. Stop and think I need to take these rocks out of my shoes because I wouldn’t make it another mile. The little rocks will make you stop from reaching the milestone you need to get to. There is a lesson to learn at that time but not to dwell on that time of the day. Always remember there will be some things to learn and take time to look at what you have gained in that task and as well as the skills.
