The Journey of Wisdom
A Man Quest for a Better Life Guided by Three Timeless Lessons

There was a newlywed couple who were very poor and lived at the expense of the townspeople in a small town. Struck by the idea, one day, the husband proposed this to his wife.
Honey, I am leaving our house for some time. I will be working until I find a job and earn enough money so I can come back and give you a more comfortable and respectful life.
I don't know how long I will be gone from you, and I ask just one thing of you, that you wait for me and don't betray me, for my part, vow to be loyal to you.
So, the son wandered for days, till finally, he found a landlord who was looking for some help. The young man volunteered to work and was accepted.
Revised- But he struck a deal with his boss.
Allow me to work for a while, and when it is time for me to depart, free me from my duties. I want my salary, I want to deposit it in a savings account the day I quit. Then you will pay me what I made back then.
They agreed, and the young man worked for 20 years without a holiday or a day off.
After that, he approached his boss and told him
Boss, it's time to go home. I need you to give me my savings, I'll come early tomorrow.
The chief agreed, but he proposed his own deal in exchange for keeping his part of the bargain.
You can take. I can give you back your money and go, or I can give you three tips, I won't give you the money and go.
You either give me the money, and I won't tell you the advice, or the other hand, Go to your room and think about it and give me the answer.
He had two days of serious skepticism because it would take a lot of money, but out of respect for his boss, who he considered a great wise man, and out of the knowledge that this man loved him as his own son, he had no doubt and finally told him. I need three pieces of advice.
The boss reminded him. If I give you the advice, I'm not going to give you the money. I know, I know, but I need advice.
Then, the boss said the following.
1. Again, never take shortcuts in your life. And sometimes, the shortest and least travelled path is the one that kills you.
2. Don't ever wonder what evil looks like. The known causes fatal curiosity about evil.
3. Never make decisions based on hate and pain. You'll hate yourself for it for the rest of your life.
What advice given to a young man by the boss was?
Take these three loaves of bread, two for the journey and the third for you and your wife at home.
Having spent two decades away from home, the man embarked on a long journey home to his family
On the first day of his journey he woke up after his sleeping, he said hello to him he met a man and he asked him to where he was going. He replied. I am going to a very distant city, and I shall walk along this road more than twenty days…
So the man said to him. This is a very long road. I have a shortcut, you will reach there in a few days.
He walked on the shortcut happily, but all of a sudden, he remembered the first piece of advice.
Do not take shortcuts in your life. But let me take a moment to tell you. Short, unknown paths can take your life.
Then he took that shortcut and went on his way again.
He would learn two days later that other travelers who had taken the shortcut were attacked and robbed of everything they owned. That shortcut took a detour into an ambush.
He had already been travelling for several days and felt extremely tired and considered whether to look for a small hotel and to spend the night. So it was very late already, and when he knocked on the door, a woman opened the door and served him. He bathed and went to lay down. But early in the morning, he heard a horrible scream and woke up in fear.
He walked towards the door to go to whatever location the scream had originated, but as the door started to open, he recalled the second piece of advice.
Never wonder what evil looks like. Interest in evil can prove lethal. So he went back to sleep.

I enjoyed this.
Then he took that shortcut and went on his way again. Shirt cut draw blood, but long cut draw sweat. We say in my culture.
Well written, congrats
