The Battle of Life: Change Lies in Your Hands

Every human is a warrior—some surrender, some fall, but the few who keep fighting leave their mark on history.

Life has never been a smooth road. Every single day is a test, a challenge, a fight against fear, doubt, and failure. Some people surrender, allowing storms to break them. Others collapse under the weight of weakness. But a few—those rare few—rise, fight, and carve their names into the pages of history.

My name is Riaz Hamkar, and I believe with all my heart that every human being is the architect of their own destiny. We are all surrounded by moments when surrender whispers in our ears. We hear that tempting voice that says, “It’s easier to give up.” But within us, there must always be another voice—the voice of defiance, the voice that roars, “I will not give up.”

Think of a climber facing the tallest mountain. On his first attempt, he slips and falls. On the second attempt, a storm pushes him back. On the third, his body is too weak to move forward. Many people stop there. They say, “This is impossible. I can’t do it.” But champions are made of something different. They rise again, bandage their wounds, and climb once more. They may fall ten times, but on the eleventh attempt, they stand tall on the peak. That is what life is about. Success belongs not to those who never fall, but to those who rise every single time they are knocked down.

I have seen moments in my own life when everything seemed lost. Money was gone. Friends disappeared. Hope was fading. Darkness surrounded me. But one truth remained alive in my heart: Every failure is a step toward success. Failure is not a prison; it is a teacher. If you see it as a lesson, it will strengthen you. If you see it as a cage, it will destroy you.

We all encounter people who doubt us, who laugh at our efforts, or try to convince us that our dreams are impossible. These people are not enemies—they are tests. Their doubt is a mirror reflecting your own inner strength. When they mock, it is your chance to show them and yourself that determination can move mountains.

So, when challenges rise against you, remember this:

Tell yourself, “This will make me stronger.”

Whisper, “I will learn from this.”

Promise, “I will not surrender.”

Because life does not belong to the defeated. Life belongs to the fighters.

From today onward, I want you to see yourself not just as a person but as a warrior. Your scars are not proof of weakness; they are proof of survival. Your tears are not signs of defeat; they are signs that you cared enough to try. And your struggles are not meaningless—they are shaping you into someone greater than you ever imagined.

Imagine a young artist, struggling to find recognition, facing repeated rejection letters. Or a student, working tirelessly, failing exams despite endless study. Or an athlete, training day and night, falling short in every game. These are not stories of failure—they are stories of preparation for victory. Every struggle, every tear, every moment of doubt is refining the person you are becoming.

People will laugh at you. Let them. One day, your victory will silence their laughter. People will doubt you. Let them. One day, your success will turn their doubt into applause. And when you fall, because you will fall, remind yourself: “I will rise again. This is not my end.”

The battlefield of life is brutal, but it is also fair. It gives every person a chance to fight, a chance to rise, a chance to prove who they are. It does not reward those who sit on the sidelines waiting for miracles. It rewards those who bleed, sweat, and keep moving forward no matter how heavy the burden.

This is my message to you, from Riaz Hamkar: Life is not about merely breathing. Life is about writing a story worth remembering. It is about leaving behind a legacy that proves you were here, that you fought, that you mattered.

Yes, life is hard. It will always be hard. But the question is not about life’s difficulty. The real question is: Will you rise? Will you fight? Will you claim your victory?

So take that first step, even when your legs shake. Raise your hands, even when your heart fears. Speak your truth, even when the world doubts. Because the one who dares to fight, who dares to fail, and who dares to rise is the one who will leave a mark that never fades.

Now it is your turn. Stand tall. Fight back. Refuse to surrender. And let the world remember your story as one of courage, determination, and triumph.
