Motivational Monday - Lady Gaga
Starting Out She’s known to the world as Lady Gaga, but underneath all that comes with the name there’s a person inside who’s faced struggles and had to fight to get to where she is now. Born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta in Manhattan, New York City, her family were upper-middle class and there was never a need to worry about money, though it would be wrong to assume there were few tribulations in regard to her upbringing. How I moved 3000 miles away from home with 500 dollars and a dream Part 1
Orignally wrote on: August 22, 2011 at 1:04pm Since I was a young child I've always dreamed about moving to California to pursue my dream of being a film director. It's not a common dream where I come from, and not many people supported a "fabricated" career in the film industry. So, I had a long and hard road ahead. My family was not on the streets and they were not upper middle class either, but they definitely didn't have a savings for my college. Little did I know, how much more work I had to do in order to go to college. High school came and went, and three years later I achieved my associates degree. With time, hard work, and a decent GPA, I was ready to transfer to a school in California (preferably USC). So I started filling out apps for colleges.

The Pawn Transformed into a Queen
Trigger warning: This discusses abuse, mental health, and suicide. Please take precautions. I think the first time I felt true “hope” was when I saw Air Jordan fly across the basketball court and slam dunk. I always looked up to Cinderella stories and now that I’m older I realize it's because it was the only hope I had.

The Pandemic is a Perfect Time to Pursue Your Hobbies
Stay-at-home orders, social distancing, and wearing masks are all new parts fo life that might last quite some time. Every person has the right to be upset with the current circumstances of the world. It sucks. The summer of 2020 isn’t anything like I envisioned it, but I’m sure as hell making the most of it.
