Not Everyone Will Like You
Not Everybody Will Like You -When someone doesn’t like you, rather than taking it personally we can release the need for approval, having to always prove who we are, what we do or prove our love by a means that has nothing to do with love whatsoever or anything else that someone wants us to prove to them and move on.

My Goal
No one is alone on this planet. We all have a place where we belong. There are plenty of places you can reach out to if you feeling overwhelmed or need help. What I want to do with my presence online, is to make an easy place where anyone can come and be a part of a community that is all about love and understanding. No sad headline news articles, no hate or discrimination, just a community of hugs, understanding and advice, as well as the final goal, laughing and loving together. This is my first real attempt at getting my voice out into the world of our technology-based lives. I also want others to feel as if they can do the same thing, despite being shy or being told they can’t do it. (will be discussed in another post.) I want to be able to start the ball rolling on different topics so that people feel more comfortable talking to others about difficult things they are going through. I hope by me giving personal examples that I have faced and that people I know have faced, that everyone will feel encouraged to get out of their shells and reach out for help or just feel more comfortable with themselves. A quote I have always held with me since my first boyfriend told me about has been, “Happiness is like a Butterfly; The more you chase it, the more it will Elude you, but if you turn your Attention to other things, it will come and sit softly on your Shoulder.” -Henry David Thoreau.

Wear A Damn Mask and Hug A Tree. Top Story - September 2020.
Corona has offered many different experiences. The majority of which were unfortunately bad. However others experienced a different kind of journey. One where the sickness started in the mind and the antedote being to face yourself and force a change for the bigger picture. For yourself. And eventually for humanity.

The Hidden
The Hidden One moment, a mere second. That’s all it takes for your world to crash all around you, for your life to burn you beyond recognition. For some it’s a lesson, others the final straw. Thankfully my moment although at the time seemed to consume me, was the beginning to an epic adventure and the greatest lesson I have ever learned. To be courageous and have hope. No matter how dark the world seems, have hope. No matter how scary your choices seem to be, have courage to stand up. Take that step forward, fight back, show them they’re wrong. So powerful were these words to me I had them branded upon my skin. Proving to myself and others, I fought back, I got out. That yeah, the night is always darkest before the dawn, but damned if I’m not gonna have one hell of a dawn coming my way.

Grounding
I have many dreams. I wonder sometimes if I’m the only one but I’m certain I’m not. Even the Beatles said it: “I’m a dreamer...”. Through my self-enquiry I’ve had conversations with people. I remember one person shared with me that his career was something that he had chosen to do since he was very little. Yet, this person showed no passion for his career. I felt a connection with this person. It was like mirroring me years before, when I was studying International Business, but absolutely clueless of what I really wanted to do with my life.

Finding Faults
Once in your life to make you never want to get your hopes up again; I don't believe anyone is born a pessimist, I think it's how we're raised, and all those little disappointments that make us doubt everything in life. Someone who has had good come out of bad becomes an optimistic person because they've had their tragic moments turned into something great. But we're not all that lucky in life.

Habits Maketh the Man (and Un-Maketh Him, Too)
It is so easy to overestimate the importance of one defining moment and underestimate the value of making small improvements on a daily basis. Too often, we convince ourselves that massive success requires massive action. - James Clear, Atomic Habits

"Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery." It's all good in the hood when someone admires your style but there's nothing more irritating than a copycat. Indeed, "they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery," but when it comes to someone infringing on your self-expression, it can feel more like slurred. Does self-esteem affects this habit? Usually, those who are doing this has low self-esteem “Celebrities get copied all the time, that’s one of the traits that makes them valuable,” said Dr. Robi Ludwig a nationally-recognized psychotherapist and author. At first, it's good to hear someone admires you, but how abt' it would come through some point copies how you act and speak? For a friend or colleague copying how you dressed up is something you can accept. Of course, being able to experience these red flags, you could relate. Imitating positive things from a person to attracts unsuspecting people from their heroism. To ensure that they mirror how you actually move including; motions and gestures. It was not noticeable if you're not aware of someone bearing a sense of individuality that you have. But, what exactly drives a person to copy you, even in this nice way?
