Are You Afraid of Public Speaking?
I just remembered when I was in my teen years: a shy girl, that preferred to be alone, always studying, with no time for socializing. What a wrong point of view !. I thought that my most important task as an student was to get excellent grades in all my subjects. I thought that intelligence was measured by high grades. I also thought that smartest people deserved the best salaries and job opportunities available in the marketplace. Little I knew then, how important was to socialize. You cannot go far in life without friends, connections, interactions. I realized all this, when I was in my 50’s, while been trained in the financial industry, in Wall Street. Kind of late, eh!, but not too late!

Dear Me,
This is to the girl who is sprawled out on her child-hood bedroom floor. The girl whose world feels like it’s shattering apart. To the girl avoiding her full-length mirror because your face is covered in tears, and your eyes are blood shot. You’re staring up at that old ceiling, praying that it would just crash on top of you. You’re laying in that spot you always do when your world feels so out of control. That spot right at the foot of the bed. The one that has collected so many of your tears and caught your knees every time they hit the floor. That spot that always supported you when you felt as if no one else would. The wool carpet is itching your arms and the back of your neck like it always does.
