How To Help My Extrovert Friends During the Pandemic
The pandemic has defined this year in nearly every way. The world has been witness to a most challenging time, punctuated by illness and loss, as well as economic distress. One of the most difficult aspects of 2020 and going into 2021, that has impacted us all, has been the dismantling of our social life. As social creatures, it has been hard to accept the strict limitations placed on our movements. While the concept of distancing is logical knowing how viruses transmit, it still doesn’t make it any easier to accept.

Creating Personal Boundaries
For the longest time, I would end the week frustrated, burnt out, and unable to turn off “work mode.” I was in bad moods long after 5:00 rolled around and I felt miserable on weekends. The sadness I felt on Sundays grew and grew— then came the feelings of guilt (because I wasted my weekend), stress (because I have so much to do this week) and anger (because I shouldn’t be feeling like this).

Step-by-step guide to scheduling
Well for some of us we need and thrive on a schedule, for many others it's just a hard thing to do. Maybe you make a schedule, but you feel like you are not being the most effective throughout the day. Most people can make a schedule or a plan, but it might not be the most effective way to go through your day. Making an effective schedule is something else all together. I find that I need a schedule, a to-do list, something that gives me task that I need to accomplish and something to bring scrutcure to my day. When I was laid off the first time during the pandemic, I didn't really make a schedule. And I found that the days just blended together. I also felt like I came out of the 2 months wondering what I did with all that time and feeling like I had wasted an opportunity. So going into it for the second time I made sure that I was going to do things differently to make use of my time.

What do you want them to remember about you?
Somewhere along the way, I’m guessing you’ve seen one of my famous live transformations. I’m known for taking how someone talks about themself from boring to brilliant in a matter of moments. It’s fun for the person because they get to hear how great they are from someone else’s perspective, and it’s fun for me because I get to tell someone how awesome they are.
