Fully Alive in a Half-living World
I guess I've always felt this way and forgot. I wish our economy and structure supported connection, comraderie and expansion in ways that people like me could flourish and feel accepted, heard, valued and respected. The only way this will actually come to fruition is if my purpose starts to get included in the day to day monotony of life. And no one gets to tell me what my purpose is. The more I'm forced to reject myself to get something done or make ends meet - the more I lose my sense of purpose.

Hunting Season Is Open, Let's Kill All The Vampires!
Imagine that you really want to stop drinking alcohol, you really want to stop smoking, and you really want to stop eating sugar (and by sugar, I mean processed sugar and not the sugar naturally present in fruit and other Whole Foods), and you really want to stop drinking coffee!

Thins
“I called this meeting to let you all know that as of this moment, our company, is in fact, the number one company in the whole state of Missouri as far as the manufacture of passenger tires are concerned,” was the speech Davin West gave his employees. Davin West was the President of a tire company called West Wheels and Tires in a town in Central Missouri named Ridgewood, and his company was on a successful run that year. In one particular month, he sold twice the units he would normally sell and with that surge in sales, it placed his company in the pages of Forbes magazine. He was a very rich man as well as an arrogant one. Although he had money, he did not have happiness, and his whole world was revolving around his company that he started fresh out of High School.

Bare by Lolly Vieira
Self-expression is the driving force behind every act in the creative world: whether it’s art, music, poetry, or the way we decorate ourselves. For many people, hair is one of the most noticeable sign vehicles we have which quickly conveys to the public who we are.

The Help You Need To Beat Your Drug Addiction
What is Inpatient drug rehab in Iowa? This is the place where substance abuse addicts are given treatment by the experts of substance abuse treatment facilities. The professionals of substance abuse treatment know more than the medical doctors that we have; they know how to tackle the substance abuse problem with the help of social programs and community, how to let them understand the gravity of their mistakes that they have committed; the reason for their addiction; how to give them back their self-respect and dignity, respect towards people and towards other people that they have deceived.

Loving Me: My Journey to Self-Acceptance
I want to love myself. There. I said it. Oh, I have a really hard time doing it! I have not been very nice to my body. I am a recovering bulimic/anorexic. I have abused alcohol in my younger days. I had a heart attack and other chronic illnesses. But my body trudged on, getting zero love and all the hate from me, and every time my body “failed” me, I threw it under the bus. It made me feel weak because I always honored my mind. I very much put my worth squarely on my intelligence and my ability to be kind to others. I looked at my body as something that held me back.

Broken
Where does the go when yor left broken hearted? All the plans and memories turn to ash at your feet. Everything you have worked for and built feels meaningless and useless. It seems like everyone around you continues being happy and living their best life. While you are left lying in the flames of your most painful moment. It's as if people on the street know that your heart is so broken that it may never be put back together. You drag your broken heart around for all to see, and for everyone to poke fun at. Although no one is poking fun at you. All the plans and We no longer see the good it's the pain and suffering that consumes us. Everything we do is done with our heartbreak out in the open. We think with it , we feel with it, we eat with it. Hell we even bathe with it.

Identifying and Coping with TBI, The Early Days
What is a TBI? A Traumatic Brain Injury or TBI is any injury that affects how the brain works. A concussion falls into that category. It is a misconception that you have to directly strike your head to incur a TBI. In my case, the impact of a double hit in a car accident was enough to rattle the brain in my skull resulting in a brain injury.
