Does the Law of Attraction Work?
''Be careful what you wish for'', the famous saying we all blurt out in our day to day conversations. This saying is so powerful as I associate it with the ''law of attraction'', attracting like for like. What we put out there is what we receive, do you believe in that law, that we are part of the universal matrix of energy and frequencies? The energy that we expend out there we get the same back. We are governed by laws of the universe we live in, what others may term as ''karma''. People often say they find the things they don't like manifest in their reality quicker than what they truly love. That I find is how our mindset is designed, we are creatures of fear, and let's remember, fear is an emotion as much as happiness and sadness are. We fear a lot about lack of money, no one loving us, or having a bad day. What if we program our minds to think positively? Do you think then we will attract what we love? We have to be really careful about what we say because when we instill emotion in the things we say those that we say we then attract. The flip side to this is how difficult it is to be positive when you are not in the head space or when your surroundings are not supporting the emotion.

Back to the Present - A Letter from My Future Self . Second Place in Dear New Year Challenge.
Dear Laquesha, Hi. This is me (or you, I guess) from the future. Don’t freak out, you’re not going crazy. I hope you’re doing well. Though, I suppose that I do know that you’re alright because I am you (or I was you?) 12 months ago. I’m currently penning this letter on December 31st, 2021 while sipping on a divine cup of chamomile, hibiscus tea on the precipice of falling into the 2022 New Year. Spoiler alert: the world did not self-destruct or crumble to ash in 2021.

I'm Glad You Are Still Here
Dear Sara, I’m glad that I can head this letter with that term of endearment. In the years before I didn’t consider you, “dear”. In fact, my self-esteem was so low it had me wishing you were dead sometimes. We made it to Japan and we were living the dream but it wasn’t in a way that you or I could feel good about. Actually, it turned out to be more of a nightmare, wouldn’t you say? We hated our job and just struggled to get up every morning. Do you remember that? Well, 2020 was a step up in the start, since we got out of that situation. I bet you never imagined that we would be back in the states in just a few months after that, and in the middle of a pandemic no less! Well, I’m here now, and things aren’t as dismal as they could be. This new year of 2021 is starting off full of hope and potential, but we still never know what will happen. Keep these aspirations in mind and I think it will be easier to keep moving forward and to keep loving yourself, no matter what happens. That is the most important thing after all.

Proof the Law of Attraction Is Working?
Are you one of those people who needs proof all the time? Are you one of those Law of Attraction students who catches yourself saying things like I wonder how this is going to come to me? Or What do I need to figure out so I know what to do next in order to manifest what I desire?

Maintaining Mental Health in 2021
Well, we finally made it to the end of a rather unorthodox year, to say the least. I would normally say we should be focusing on the year to come, a celebratory metaphor of a clean slate, but let’s be honest, this year isn’t going anywhere any time soon. More specifically, social distancing isn’t going anywhere any time soon. The financial, emotional, and mental toll Covid-19 has played on myself, and everyone else this year is no stranger. But, going into 2021, let’s focus on the routines and key points that keep myself (and maybe you too) sane during these incredibly difficult times.

A Good Year
2020 has not exactly been the best of years this millennium, however its had its good points. Yes, seriously, 2020 has had its good points. Stop laughing its true! I mean it! Okay, I will wait until you have stopped being hysterical. I understand, what with Corona virus being the big issue last year its little wonder we can think of any thing good.

Who Are The Truly Happy People And Why?
Happiness was as easy as getting candy or your favorite pencil when you were a kid. As we grow along and become adults, nothing seems to make us happy. There is always a clause or condition or hindsight to everything we do or achieve. Happiness and joy are a lost cause for most grown-ups.

Illusion of a Path
The road leads nowhere for there is no road. There is merely a planet full of forms, all full of life, and of these - bajillion known - forms, just one dominates this rock like a paid madam. What have we become? Sure there were more pronounced moments that led us so astray, but what of the daily twists and turns that bring us deeper into the darkness: the ones we seem so happy to ignore?
