What Stories..All I See Here is a Bunch of Advice!
I have looked through literally all of the catagories, I see a few stories but mostly advice columns. WHAT THE HELL??? I know I am not the greatest writer on the planet, matter of fact I flat out suck at it, but I am learning, and that is the fun part of this. I love that Vocal exists, but how does anyone writing an actual story have any chance of winning any of the challenges? Don't get me wrong there's some great advice here but GIVE IT A REST! I don't need to know how to survive a flippin Zombie Apocolypse, since it isn't likely to ever happen. I don't care about what color shirt I should wear to the movies...what the f*ck?

Broken Dreams And Lazy People
"You're crazy." That's point-blank what my girlfriend told me when I first told her I wanted to be a writer. "I don't want you sitting in some cheesy coffee shop all day, typing away on your laptop," she said. "Those places are full of broken dreams and lazy people who spend way too much on a cup of coffee. Besides, you're a grown-ass man, not some entitled, over-aged millennial living in his mom's basement."

My Own Plans on Vocal
I have my own reasons for signing up on Vocal. When I was creating my profile early on. The only thing find I found harder to write than a story draft was my bio. It was mainly to give a brief description on what type of posts I intend to create. So I figure I would create a post about my plans on Vocal. It might be awhile before I can write a proper bio for my profile. Until then, I'll use this post to better describe my primary interests and goals on Vocal.

Home; Chaunigan Lake Lodge
Home....I sigh and remember this very spot where I stood and gazed on Mother Nature's glory. The scenic vistas in all directions blew my mind, as I removed my Nikon camera from its case and began filming the splendor before me. Right below was Konni Lake, as I filmed its entire length then Nemiah Lake and off in the distance Chilko Lake with its turquoise waters, and neat, needle, pebbled beaches.

Living In The 70's and Present
Living In The 1970's and Present I grew up living in the 70's and things were really going on, GoGo boots- patent leather, mini skirts, Hippies, Flower Children, Black Panthers,Water Gate, Vietnam War. Don Cornelious(Soul Train), American Band Stand. Who could live in a better world. Flip wilson, Johnny Carson, Ike and Tina. the Jacksons and the Osmonds. I actually grew up in the era of Marvin Gay singing "WHAT'S GOING ON" and James Brown shouting "Say It Loud! I'm Black and I'm Proud". There were so many great things to imagine of what you could become. As a four year-old I could remember all these things, on television and radio there was the Watergate scandal, then finally Nixon "Your President is Not a Crook" resigning, the war and scandal was what we heard; then there was a revolution of teens against their parents, I remember my mother explaining to me what was happening at that time.

MASTERING MY MIND
It’s Wednesday already and so far this week I’ve done approximately...nothing. I blame the bank holiday of course. It would be stupid to blame myself. Even if half the problem is not being able to get my brain into gear for long enough to feign interest in important stuffs (no it's not a typo) that might need doing.

Don't Stop Now!
Think for a moment about a lengthy road trip you went on at some point in your life, one that was a few thousand kilometers away. It may have been a destination that took several days to reach, so you had to make overnight stops along the way. Perhaps it was for a holiday, and that destination was to be the highlight of the trip, but you incorporated some stops along the way to do some sightseeing and exploring. Even if you haven't been on such a journey, then think of a destination you would love to visit, that is say 3,000 kilometers away from where you are, and visualize driving that journey, how you would plan it, and where you would stop along the way? Either way, focus now on that destination, and why you wanted to go there so badly, what was it that was attracting you so? Perhaps there was a certain tourist attraction you desperately wanted to see, or there was a certain event on that you needed to attend, or maybe some of your loved ones live there. Whatever the reason, focus on the "why" you chose that destination, and the importance of it to you. Whether you have done such a road trip, or are just visualizing it in your head, I now want you to picture yourself on that journey, where you are say half, to maybe three quarters, of the way there, and unfortunately, you begin to feel the wheel rim starting to scrape against the road, courtesy of a flat tyre. Now this may normally not be such a big deal, but for the fact that along this journey so far, you have encountered so many hiccups, such as constant roadworks, a flat battery, accommodation dilemmas, you lost $100 from your wallet at some point, and all these other annoying inconveniences, it has compounded the frustration within you. So rather than go about changing that tyre and continuing on, you end up changing the tyre, you turn around, and you head home. You are fed up with all these frustrating events and occurrences, that you have simply had enough!

His Eyes PlayList.
It never leaves my mind that no matter what I hit to play, his eyes are watching. There is never somewhere on my playlist that I can go where his eye is not already there. There is no song that I can play where his eye hasn't seen all of the lyrics.

The Habit of Love
Since November, I've been worried about myself. My only roommate, The Venerable Marshall J. Mellow, passed away after ten years of cuddly cohabitation. My family is a dang mess, though that is not new. A job I really enjoyed, ended at the beginning of February. My favorite neighbor moved away. The COVID pounds, which I was still glib about last year, keep inching up the scale. My hormones are participating in a 24/7 dance party.

Challenging myself
Yes, sometimes I’m a bit egocentric — or way too many times — I seem to write better while talking about my experiences. I love to write, especially about traveling, I have 1001 ideas running on my mind that I seem to be unable to translate to the written word. — I had a therapy session where we discussed the fact that the way my mind works is not the best way to a creative outlet. I seem to be too analytical.

40 Day Prosperity Plan
Based on the work of John Randolph Price, the 40 Day Prosperity Plan is a series of ten different zen like meditations to engage in, every day for the first ten days of the program, and then you repeat this sequence three more times. There is a caveat to this process. If you skip a day for whatever reason, you have to start again from day one. This is because it takes 40 days for the concepts to sink in and work. In saying that, people (including moi) have achieved results sooner than that.

Succeed With Inspiration
You have a decision: you can live inauspiciously without motivation or you can decide to prevail with motivation. Achievement amounts to nothing in the event that it needs motivation. At the point when you follow your motivation to progress you are encountering accomplishment while in transit to your objectives.
