How Vocal Has Kept Me Writing, And My Goals As I Approach my 6,000th Read.
I'm like anyone else, except that I'm not. When it comes to writing and even writing on Vocal I'm probably similar to quite a few of those that write for the platform. Today, for instance, I found myself with a surprise even though I wasn't feeling the best about things. Vocal shocked me with a 5.00 bonus for a story I wrote about hitting my four thousand reads mark and where I wanted to go next. I'm actually getting closer to making a full one hundred dollars on Vocal, since signing up for Vocal Plus, than I realized.

The Secret to Resilience is Consistency and Self Reflection
Our collective human experience in the last year has demonstrated the importance of opening our hearts and minds to connect to one another in new ways and share our stories of courage and resilience. It is a part of our modern conversations to discuss the importance of resilience and how we can adapt to be more resilient in the face of adversity, stress and fatigue. Our resilience is a part of our human experiences and how we have consistently applied our strengths into our sense of sense, which takes discipline and time. The solution to being or becoming a resilient person is something that is developed with consistency and self-reflection, not over night. Our resilience is a part of how our inner courage allows us to be vulnerable and uncertain of ‘what is next,’ with the hope and knowledge that our resilience will keep us going. For those that have walked with their darkness know that being a resilient person takes a lot of quiet courage and self-reflection.

A YOUNG NUMINIMIST'S DREAM
By Numinimist A family member or our can peers nudge us toward creating the vision for our future. As a young numismatist, or coin collector, with an abundance of time but little money to spend, my early collection was mainly pennies picked through pocket change. When my grandpa took me to my first coin show, I splurged on a $10 roll of circulated Buffalo nickels. My biggest pursuits were collecting Lincoln wheat cents and Buffalo nickels by date and mint mark.

After Thousands of Obscure Sunset
I never thought my destiny will bring me here, where every moment I feel like I’m drowning. It seems like I’m stuck somewhere where I can’t breathe. I look around, everything is normal. Life is going on in his race. Everyone has a hectic schedule from dawn to dusk. The day starts with rays of sunlight that wake them up and ends with exhaustion. Sunset after sunset goes on. But I’m the only one whose life is standstill.

Could success be measured?
Yes, the magic word, the most desired outcome by the majority of earth’s seven billion inhabitants, we almost everyday hear about success stories of different people and the paths they followed, how Oprah became one of the most influential women in the world, how MJ became one the most dominant players in NBA history and so many other examples, so we end up desiring and craving for atleast something close to what they achieved, and I won’t deny it, this could be considered a healthy ambition and aspiration if it’s approached the right way, by defining our own future goals without trying to copy other’s lives, because every individual’s achievements vary from other’s, they can be better as much as they can be lesser.

Don’t Give up, Better is Coming
Look up not down! When things seem to all go south—it all takes a turn for the better. Don’t give up, keep trying—there is light at the end of the tunnel—the only way to the light is through the dark. And when you’re at your wit’s end—it’s the time to keep going—keep pushing through. Whatever happens, don’t give up—and you will come out from the other side—stronger and wiser than before. Part of living is going through struggles—they only make you stronger and better than before.

40 Before 40 Goals: How I’m Making the Most of My 30s with This Bucket List. Top Story - April 2021.
I turn 37 tomorrow, and I just realized I only have 3 short years left before I am 40. I’ve been kind of afraid of the big four-oh for a while now, but the closer I get to it, the more I wonder exactly why that is.

If You Cannot Act Now, Prepare
"Give me six hours to chop down a tree, and I will spend the first four sharpening the ax." Abraham Lincoln When we execute a plan that we have worked on for a long time, we should have everything we need for it. The tools must be handy and ready to use.
