"You're a Writer!" They Proclaim
I remember the first time I was hit by the writing bug. When I was in the sixth grade, an essay I wrote about my grandpa made it through as a winner of a state competition. Just being chosen made me feel like there was something special about me that had suddenly appeared overnight.

5 Simple Yet Smart Writing Goals You Should Set If You’re Just Getting Started
So, here’s the thing. Goal-setting has never really been one of my strong suits. I tend to get spontaneous bursts of energy and creativity, and my organizational skills are not that great. Plus, I always preferred to take things one day at a time rather than set long-term plans. Maybe because I’m too familiar with the saying, “We plan. God laughs.” Anyway.

What Makes America the Country with the Most Olympic Medals?
Olympic Games are international sports festivals that are held every 4 years with the ultimate goal of harnessing and nurturing the human skillset through sports. It also aims at fostering World Peace across the globe which is the need of the hour. Summer Games and Winter Games are held separately which attracts young and thriving athletes from around the world, who try to create an indelible impact through their skills mustered with hard work. Truly, these games, which range from a variety of sporting events display the remarkable psyche of the athletes and also serve as a podium for letting them get expressive about their opinions and thoughts. The idea yet remains to cultivate unity as these athletes participate from across the world. And with the promotion of healthy competition, the Olympics act as a bridge to connect people devoid of traditions and cultures.

No Longer A Gym Shark
The new year is here and we’re all trying to find ways to make sure 2021 is the year we manifest our goals. That might not be a struggle for some, but most may feel the pressure and get lost along the way. One goal being obvious is to lose weight or become a healthier version of yourself in the process. The latter, being the most neglected, should be the ultimate goal simply because this idea makes the most change to your everyday life. Start with going to a healthcare professional and seeking guidance but take it a step further by asking many questions and doing your own research. Because who’s going to advocate for you more than you? Nobody, (sang in my best Keith Sweat voice). Seriously though, put yourself in the driver seat in learning what makes your body the best version of itself.

Today, I want to learn to control my emotions
Success guru Og Mandino once wrote this paragraph, for those who can not control their emotions, may be very beneficial: the tide ebbs and flows, winter to spring, the end of summer to autumn, sunrise and sunset, the moon is full, geese come and go, flowers fly flowers, grass grows melon ripe, everything is in the cycle of change.

Journal of thoughts
As I recall when I was just 7 my innocent feelings were written in any piece of paper perhaps it was scribbled through the wall of my room just to release what I cannot express as I watched my mother in bed, sick and depressed who has been waiting for my dad that was never home as I can remember. I felt abandoned when my mom did not allow her eyes to see that she missed to care for her 3 little angels..me and my 2 sisters...yes I became in charged at the age of 12 to take care of my mother and 2 sisters with the help of my "best friend" my pencil and paper that I treasured where I wrote every struggles and hardships. Tools given to me as a gift by those Christian missionaries who showed up every Sunday to teach the kids in the neighborhood

WHAT IF?
"WHAT IF?" There is a lot inna my head, like I want to be successful, I want to make it, I want things to come my way; not later but now, not in bits but in full, not only as predicted but assumed. I want to start winning coz I've lost many a time tryna be a winner... I want the "winning days" here and right now with a sprinkle of "thanks for your immense struggle and patience", I want it and I want it all with peace of mind dunked in a trouble-free future.

Navigating One-off Interactions When Illness and Ability Burn your Bridges
On today's agenda: grovel over literal horse shit. There's always a risk when trying to navigate the barter of labor with a stranger. Add a disability to the mix, and what might have been an otherwise straightforward situation - say, like picking up a truckload of manure - becomes a minefield. A stranger, by definition, knows little to nothing about you; decisions about disclosure abound from the very start.

The 5 Main Reasons Why I Want To Be A Writer
Since I was as young as 8 years old, I held onto another big dream: to be a writer. As soon as I started collecting diaries and using MicrosoftWord, I embarked on my writing journey. I always had a journal and pen everywhere I went, including at school. My journal was my "best friend" and "therapist" who I could talk to about whatever I desired without being criticized or punished. I wrote everything from journal entries to the most ridiculous stories on the planet.
