As we all know to learn something as a child, young adult, and adult we study the subject. We have read books, listen to audio books, podcast, youtube videos, and had conversations with others. Do you know who you are? What about you? I feel that way to. Who is Cheryl? Who am I? I have podcast helping people through my personal growth journey https://cheryl918.podbean.com/. I love sharing my information, tips on how to get through some bumpy roads, and standing strong while doing it. I know I do not sharing everyone's problems, but I have had struggles where the solution could relate to someoneelse's. I myself have been ridiculed, put down over and over and over again, while facing problems I did not understand. Because of an accident I had almost fifty years ago learning has been a problem. When I was teenager and a young adult I pretended to know everything when I was more confused than anything. I pretty much walked through life with a blindfold over my eyes. When I became a mother I was the happiest I could be. I suddenly did not feel alone. Yes, being a single mother I had financial problems, and finding someone when you are a single mother was so challenging. Everyone wants to be loved. I played it cool around my son when we would go to games, and I saw the hurt in his eyes when another child's father would say, "Hey budy good game, pick them up after school and hug them." I felt so bad, because I remember how I felt when my biological father was suddenly not there anymore. I was the fortunate one, because my mother did meet a nice man who became my father. I wished I could have done the same. I also felt bad I did not have enough money to do what other families could do with their children. I had to work two jobs all my life, even going to college did not help me. I felt like I was misplaced. I would often ask myself, how is the rest if the world getting a head, and here I am still in the same place in the same way. Why as tears rolled down my eyes. When I turned fifty I recognized that I was not really enjoying life to its fullest. Yes, I did things, and went out. But I still did not know who I am. My goal this year is to find out who I am, and accomplish what I must accomplish, while putting forward my story. This is goes for everyone. Find out who you are. Forget about what you do everyday, what people tell you to do. Take a break, and really delve inside of you, and study you. How you ask? How do I find out who I am? Everyday take a minute or more if you can. Do a self check called the self scan. Sit quiety draw your attention to the top of your head, and keep scanning all the way down to your toes. How did that feel? Did you feel tension, were parts a little more stressed than others. Stretch them out. Do a light tapping release the stress. After a couple of weeks doing that try to sit quietly, and ask yourself, "Am I living the life I want, is there something I can do more, what is my dream, and who am I really?" This could take a while. One day or night you will wake up after doing this, and learn what you really want to be doing. Honestly, once we get focused on our careers, and family. We do forget what did we really want to do. Hey! Remember when you were a little child, and said to yourself or somone, " When I grow up this is what I want to be." Yes, that is right you knew as a little child what you wanted. As time went on that dream disappeared. Happened to me who is extremely aware in this world.
