A Message from Texxx-Man Cosplay
2018 is almost over and 2019 is fast approaching. Part of this year has been rough on me. I was homeless and jobless for months before I ended up slowly getting back on my feet. However, there have been some great moments from this year. Back in late July, I returned from a four month hiatus from cosplay, attended GlitchCon with my friends about a week and a half later, started a new job after Labor Day and moved in with a roommate. Finally, in early October, I worked on my first cosplay in over a year, which was The Human Spider. Next year, I'm planning on working on an Aquaman/Red Gyarados mashup that's going to be called Aquados. I might work on another cosplay, but I'm not sure yet.

What Have You Learnt from 2018?
It's that time of the year again; the time when people look back on the year that they've had and try to make changes for the upcoming year. 2018 has been a rollercoaster of a year, and for some reason, it also seemed like it was an excruciatingly long one. I saw tweets that literally reminded me that Black Panther came out in February and that the entire Tide Pod fiasco happened in January. In case you've forgotten, the FIFA World Cup also happened this year. Fortnite feels like it's been around for a couple of years, right? Nope; this year. No matter which way you look at it, 2018 feels like its been here forever. It definitely feels nice to finally put a lid on everything bad this year has brought and look forward to 2019, and the most common way to do this is, of course, make resolutions. Now, I've made my stance on New Year's resolutions pretty clear in an earlier article, so I'm not going to talk about that today. Instead, I'm going to give you a bit of advice on something that you can do to ensure that you get some form of closure for everything you've been through, good or bad, for 2018. Don't worry, it's not a very complicated process or anything of the sort; in fact, it's quite simple. All you need is a pen and a piece of paper.

What Does It Mean to Show up in Life?
What does it mean to "Show up for ourselves?" (raising one eyebrow in wonder). Showing up isn't just putting action behind a thought, we can all put on a uniform sort of speak and head to the office. We can create a vision board and execute like any effective leader. "Showing up" is hard work but if we are to reach the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, we have to awaken to who we are and develop the right approach when it comes to our well-being.

It's Difficult, I Know
Life, to me, is how my dad explained it. It's like a horse race, but one of those ones where there are jumps every other hundred yards. My dark spin on my dad's analogy is, it IS like a horse race. You're riding through life smoothly for about 10 seconds, then you hit a rather heart-dropping hurdle. Now, if you don't fall of inevitability, you've succeeded. But every once in a while, the people riding fall off and the horse breaks its leg and the curtains go up. Generally, life is like that for everyone; we smooth sail whilst regularly jumping hurdles and overcoming those hurdles.

Why Doing Stuff on Your Own Is Awesome!
Most of my life, I have enjoyed doing things by myself. I think it stems from when I was in primary school and I would never play with anyone at break time and instead just skip around the playground lost in my own world. Even though I don't do that anymore *cough*, I still like to do things alone, whether it be shopping or going to the gym. Don't get me wrong, I like to hang out with my friends too, and sometimes I do like company, if I go to the cinema for example. What I mainly want to focus on in this post is things that people often do with others but could choose to do alone. I know that a lot of people, particularly girls, always like to have company whenever they do something, which is great and sociable, but in some situations doing an activity on your own can be beneficial (and even easier)! So here are four reasons why doing things on your own can be awesome!

Tsureal Advice
I'd love to tell you how beautiful my life has been. It would make me so happy to share stories of love and loyalty... tales of success, and strength and freedom. I could spread hope wrapped in sweet little lies. Or, I could stroke the ego of imagination and watch the mind orgasm in the bliss of ignorance. But, what good would that actually do?

Spread Love
Negativity. Hatred. Jealousy. Enviousness. Are all things that can hinder you from being who you are supposed to be. Spending all your time looking at what other people are doing and talking about them; then how can you expect to prosper. This is the kind of behaviour that will block your blessings and make your life much harder than it is supposed to be.
