I Cost My Friend $40,000 Because I Didn't Believe In Myself
It is not easy to write about failure. It is especially difficult when the failure was not borne of a mistake but a mistaken belief in myself that turned out to be, ironically, not enough belief in myself. And it is a hundred fold more difficult, or a million, when that failure cost a dear friend financially, emotionally, physically and mentally. Sigh…

Motivational Running Techniques
Have you ever wanted to try and improve your running technique? Have you ever felt like you wanted to go faster or run longer than you have before, but each time that you do it feels as if though you cant? What if I told you that all it takes is just a little mental motivation inside of you telling yourself that you can push yourself beyond your limits and you can work harder to get faster or run longer. All you need to do is just take a pause while you're running and focus on the words in the next paragraph. These words come from the TV show 'The Flash', but I gotta say hearing it and saying it to myself when I am running does make me go faster at times and does make me want to push myself to finish strong. Whether your trying to improve your speed or build up your wind, these few simple words can help out anyone with their mental state while running.

Are You a Mixed-Up Chameleon?
--- Comparison is an act of violence against the self." - Iyanla Vanzant My daughter and I both love Eric Carle's The Very Hungry Caterpillar. It's actually the only story of his that I remember reading as a child. Some days, though, my daughter and I scout YouTube looking for stories to listen to together - she has extensive library and read a lot, too. However, on this particular day, she wanted to watch and listen to a story as told by someone other than me. We stumbled across The Mixed-Up Chameleon and we were both pleasantly surprised. As an illustrator, I'm impressed with Carle's style and as a children's book author, the simplicity of his stories is a revelation.

What Am I Worth?
What They Say Vs. What I Say/Believe Didn't think I could do it. Didn't think what I said, let alone what I wrote counted or made any sense to anybody. But once I got the idea that what I think matters; what I am matters, I began to realize that if anybody brings any negative feedback and declarations towards me that I don't have to believe them.

The 9 Year Journey of Dealing with Grief & Healing Process; What I've Learnt
It was a crisp cold winter day on November 20th, 2010. I'll never forget that day as it haunts me until this day. Every year on November 20th, I relive the awful memories that I faced at the young age of 15 years old. My mom went to work that morning promising it would be a quick 4-6hr shift and that she would be back by the early afternoon. My mom used to work as a flag girl directing traffic on construction sites.

Time - It Is Not Infinite for Us
I think about vampires a lot. And any time I can be anything fictional, it is ALWAYS a vampire. After all, they know karate, wear leather, are rich as fuck, can kill you, and are immortal. But as I enter into my almost 35th year of life, I've only begun to understand how many moments of time I have squandered by not even being conscious they were HAPPENING. And that's where I think I have my true fasciation with vampires; they get as much time as they want.
