The Energy Checkbook
How are you spending your energy? Each day we are using our energy for multiple tasks. You can spend your energy on things as big or as small as you like. It could be a work day doing various jobs. Or as small as opening a refrigerator door. But whatever you're doing, you're spending energy. I learned this concept from Dr. Bruce Lipton. The man behind the "Biology of Belief". He talked about an energy checkbook and how we spend it every day.

Get your life right!!
Are you trying to better yourself and make a difference in the world? Well so am I. I have this thing that I start to wonder what do I have to offer to the world or even just my community. I catch myself thinking about this a lot. Sometimes i think its because I feel like I’m not living my best life and I’m not living to my life’s full potential. Many people have skills that are necessary for life but don't know how to put them to work. Do you know what your skills are?? Take the time to sit down and actually analyze yourself. Once you analyze yourself you will have a better understanding of not only your worth but what you can bring to the table with your personal skills. once you analyzed yourself you will be able to even start your own business with your already acquired skills.

The Great Responsibility
“Do not let the roles you play in life make you forget that you are human.” ~Roy T. Bennett I once heard someone say that being in the form of a human being comes with a responsibility. Think about that for a second. Look at a cricket, a cat, or a dog. Look at any form of animal, insect or creature. A spider, a butterfly, a dragonfly, a bird, a lizard. Any one of these creatures could be our experience. We didn't have to come here as a human being.

A Letter Just For You
We are going on two years now since you made the decision to begin this journey. The road has been filled with both success and rejection, it's honestly surprising that you've stuck with it this long. Although, since you have, I thought it would be a good idea to remind you why your in this fight. There have been tons of letters written since this thing began... To your family, to your children, to humanity... Now I am writing this letter for you. I don't care if not a single person reads this besides you because your the only one it was made for. Everyone else is not my concern, they have people watching out for them; I'm here to watch out for you.

A Kinkster's Introduction to Journaling
Journaling is a wonderful way to uncover our thoughts and feelings as we are experiencing situations and through reflecting on our life. The act of writing itself can help to discover and illuminate the hidden, murky, unsure emotions, concerns, worries and reflections from our bodies and our minds. Journaling is a great way to jot down half-formed, foggy ideas so we might shape, develop, and learn from them. Over the years I’ve used journaling to document my thoughts, what I learned, what I wanted to bring forward into my plans and to create connections between seemingly disparate subjects. Journaling is helpful for spotting patterns in our own lives and in the details, we utilize to take on. It’s helpful for exploring our wishes, dreams, hopes, intentions; and for catching and containing our observations and descriptions of the world. There are many different methods of journaling but before I get into that I’d like to talk about how we learn and journal.

The Case for Going Halfway
The motivational motto our entire lives has been to go ‘all in’. That you have to ‘go big or go home’. Go ‘HAM,’ baby! But once you get to be my age -- with a bum left knee, emotional scars, and a trip to the emergency room for drinking too much coffee -- you realize that always taking a giant leap isn’t always so great. ...I'm 30.

Flying solo
Fairly recently, I moved out of my parents’ house and began renting my first apartment. It's a one-bedroom, second floor apartment with a little mini balcony that has a sort-of mountain view, a new paint job, and laminate floors. The building itself has an indoor pool, and my parking spot is visible from my deck. Sure, the place has its quirks — creaky pipes, a slightly drippy shower, and my neighbour smokes, but it's a home. Four months into living alone and I can safely say that I’ve learned a thing or two. So, according to my personal experience, here are some of the pros and cons of one-bedroom, one-person renting.

Life Path 1
Your life path number is the most important and powerful number in your chart, it’s the contract you agreed with your spirit guide before this life time, it’s the central focus in your life, it represents your chosen areas for development in this incarnation, this means that the achievement of this path is not going to be easy. This path is not a talent, it’s your added potential talent, if you weren’t up for the task, you wouldn’t have it in your life path, it’s your lesson and your chosen evolution for this incarnation. You may experience problems on the journey to this path but that’s the whole point, your ultimate goal in this life is to overcome the difficulties and transcend them. You may just have one number for your life path, or you may have a life path that includes steps or sub lessons like this 34/7. The number furthest to the right is your ultimate life path number 34/7, the two numbers to the left are your steps to help you achieve your life path. The most important of your steps or sub lessons is the number closest to the forward slash 34/7. Your individual life path is made totally individual by the sub lessons and all the other numbers in your chart, they all have an influence in the flavour of you, like the choice of herbs in a meal.

How emotions impair your judgment and why you shouldn't let them
Perception isn't always reality by Monique Williams Emotions are sometimes much like a mirage. Emotions can be illusive. And as much as our emotions can feel intensely real, and we can feel very passionate about things or certain events that take place in our lives, sometimes things are not what they seem. If you're having a hard time understanding what I mean, I'll lead this conversation with an example. Say for instance, you have a heated argument with your romantic partner after finding out they were flirting with someone else. Although, this kind of behavior can easily be misconstrued as something that deserves a breakup, or that you should just cut the situation off, that may be your emotions barking at you. Some people do see flirting as cheating, so it all depends on the person. But, sometimes wanting to walk away without getting the closure you need or without a conversation could just be your emotions driving this behavior. I'll be honest, if I were ever in this situation, which I have been before, I'd be pretty angry too.
