If you know me, I started my first blog in 2023. I wanted to make some passive income from it, and it’s still being processed. Well, many of you think blogging is dead in 2025? Especially regional blogging? If you ask me these questions, then my answer will be “NO’’, but why? The answer is here

It’s my 1.5 years of hard work. The result after September 2024 is not there because I was not that active, but still, I am getting 70 to 100 views per day on my blog. How do I reach to this point? How can you get this kind of result? How can you grow your regional blog? Here is my 5-step guide:-

Grow your blog/ regional blog in 2025:-

  1. Write for whom?:- Blogging is not about directly writing a peace of article, you have to provide value to your audience. Ask yourself a question:- Why a reader should read my article? If you find a strong reason, then start writing. Initially, you might struggle to write 1000 words per day, but practice will make you perfect. Always write for readers and not just increase the quantity. Quality matters most!

  • Be unique:- My niche was Blogging. Everyone was writing blogs in English in the same niche, so I decided to write the blog in my regional language (Marathi). This decision leads me to this result. I have a large audience from India, and even if many Marathi writers are writing in the same niche, I am writing on unique topics. I am not self-obsessed here, but the conclusion is that the more unique the topic you choose, the more reach you will get.
    1. Understanding the algorithm:- SEO helped me to get so many views. You have to accept this fact: whether it’s your blog or any writing platform, its algorithm does not work like Instagram. Initially, you might not get hundreds of views on your first article, but over some time that first article can get thousands of views. Understanding the algorithm of the platform is most important so keep writing high-quality content.

    1. SEO:- I used some SEO techniques like ALT text, meta tag description, search description, keyword research, etc. Also, I did competitor analyses. I read competitors’ blogs and I started finding gaps in their writing, which topics are they missing? Etc. These helped to write more and more unique content.

    1. PPC:- It does not mean pay-per-click! It means Practice, Patience and consistency. I practice writing a 1000-word article, and for that, I need to go through all the processes that I have already mentioned above. I have to outline; I have to think a lot before writing a piece. Initially, I started writing 100, then 200, then 500 words. I started practising the process. Constant efforts helped in this. For me, consistency does not mean posting daily. I started posting three articles per week. I repeat this process every day, every month. This PPC model helped to grow.

    Conclusion:-

Blogging takes time, and the algorithm needs time to understand your niche. Only then will you get traffic on your blog. But don’t write for algorithms; write for your readers. 8.5k impressions on the regional blog with a limited audience is the biggest milestone for me. My blog is on Blogger; all this traffic is organic I never promoted my blog on social media. I never take help from another blogger in my initial stage, but I want to help you.

I am thinking of starting a 7-day series about blogging, where I will tell you the basics of blogging, especially regional blogging. If you want, you can follow me.
