1. Fear is just in your mind

Once upon a time, an old man tells his grandson about a war inside our brain. He talks about the constant fight between the two wolfs inside us.

First Wolf is Fear, it creates doubt, anxiety hesitation and stress.

Whereas the Second Wolf is Faith, it makes us motivated, creates peace and hope. It also helps us in making the right decision in our life.

Grandson asks his grandfather which wolf wins the battle.

Then the old man says the one we feed the most.

Fear is just in our minds, so do not feed it more.

2. Life is not beautiful

Life is life and nothing else.

It is a series of moments and situations that eventually ends. Something that is beautiful is our perception and thinking. If you believe your life is beautiful, you’ll actually feel it.

And if you believe your life is bad, you’ll actually feel it.

Life is not beautiful or ugly, life is life, we make it beautiful or ugly with our own vision, thinking, and perception.

3. Money is not important than time

With money, you can buy a watch, but you cannot buy time.

The ones who know this will never waste their life taking shortcuts or getting involved in a rich quick scheme. And one’s who don’t know this will get involved in a quick rich scheme and lose their time and age.

As we get older, our biological energy also gets depreciated, which affects our work and success.

So if you can save time by using money, then go for it. Think long term

4. Done is better than perfect

Completing a task is more important than trying to make it perfect, perfection delays the task.

This tip is going to be helpful in your business, work, and personal life. You try to make things perfect, which may take a lot of time, and still, you may feel it is not good enough.

So stop chasing perfection.

5. Money and happiness are two different things

Today most people are running in a rat race, thinking they will be happy if they have more money. They do the work which they don’t like doing, just to get money.

Money is important, but money and happiness are two different things. If happiness is an emotion, then money is a powerful tool. It is important we have both.

However, if you think that only money can bring you happiness, then you may be pushing your happiness away.

6. You can’t impress everyone

The one thing people are most obsessed with is trying to impress everyone.

Even if you try your entire life trying to prove something and impress others, you cannot impress everyone.

So why not just think about people who really care for you and ignore others. The things you can’t control, you simply need to ignore it.

7. Success comes from an ability

Success comes from ability, not from being rich or lucky.

You can buy the best guitar in the world, but if you don’t know how to play it, what’s the point.

Most people think if they had the best equipment, they could follow their dreams or goals, things would be easier, and their chances of success would go up, which is not true.

If you see, many people started with what they have instead of whining for the best equipment.

Gadgets don’t define your success, but your ability does.

8. Don’t let past control present and future

Don’t let your past control your present and future.

Whatever you saw in your past good, bad, or whatever, don’t let it define your present and future.

If you had a failure in the past, that doesn’t mean you’ll fail in the future. The thing that matters most is today and the future. We cannot change the past, but we can definitely change our future.

9. Safe is not safe, take some risks

You must have heard some old man saying, if I had done this in my past, things would have been different today.

If you don’t want to regret later in life, then don’t make the same mistakes as they did.

You cannot grow in your comfort zone, you’ll need to take calculated risks. You need to experience achievements and failures both so you don’t regret not taking risks in life.

10. Stop worrying and start living

John Davidson Rockefeller was one of the richest men in the world, just like Jeff Bezos today.

But as soon as he grew older, he started worrying a lot about his companies, losses, and future. At one point, he used to worry so much that he started looking older than he actually was.

Then his friends and family suggested to take time off from the company, and soon he retired from the company’s management.

He then started philanthropy and other social works and left worrying completely. He lived his life happily thereafter for 97 years.

Thinking is not bad, but worrying too much will degrade your physical and mental health, which is really bad.
