This morning will never ever come back in your life again. Get up and make the most of it.

The way we start out our mornings dictates how the rest of our day is going.

The limitations are boundless if we implement a strong morning routine in our lives, our days will drastically become more productive and we will accomplish a lot more.

Here are some of my favorite things to do in the morning to get the ball rolling, I hope implementing these morning routines in your life can help you reach your goals.

Staying away from technology

I know that this is easier said than done because everyone has the tendency to instantly check their phones first thing in the morning, that sudden rush of dopamine when you check your phone and see a lot of notifications making us feel wanted.

Putting your phone aside in the morning is a great habit because you’re not instantly influenced by the outside world. You’re able to focus more on yourself and not worry about what everyone else is doing.

You will be able to think much clearer about your goals for the day. Putting our goals as a priority in the morning is key to a fulfilled day, we are able to focus better throughout the day, instead of randomly jumping to different tasks.

Sometimes when we go on social media first thing in the morning, we might see something that dictates our mood for the entire day.

Meditation and Journaling

I know that meditation might be boring for some of us, but sitting in a comfortable position and clearing your mind can help your mental and spiritual well-being setting you up for a successful day.

We must take the time in the morning to be thankful that we were blessed with another day and the opportunity to become better than we were yesterday.

Also reflecting on all the beautiful gifts life has provided you with, such as your family, wife/husband, and kids.

Throughout meditation think about what you want to accomplish by the end of the day, week, once you’ve visualized your goals instantly go to your journal and write them down before your bombarded with irrelevant thoughts.

Writing down our goals first thing in the morning provides us with a bird's-eye view on life, we are more likely to accomplish those goals if they are written down first thing in the morning because they will stick with us during the day.

Implementing this habit into my morning routine has allowed me to be more focused during the day and not get lost in the things I have to do and I hope it does the same for you.
