Reasons to keep breathing

This little article is dedicated to me and anyone else who's struggling :)

I'm guessing that you clicked on this because you're finding it difficult to find reasons to live, but there's tons of reasons :D - you're just focusing on all the bad things! Life is beautiful. You just need to learn to view it that way :)

Treat your life like it's a ghibli movie :D - turn your life into an aesthetic

anyways here are some reasons you should keep going for a little while longer:

1. Playing animal crossing

A cute little pic I took when I first picked the game up.

This game changed my life. It helped me look forward to tomorrow.

It's got such cute and simple graphics and your villagers become your genuine friends, despite the fact they're just 1s and 0s, they feel human. You always feel included and less lonely. It feels like they're always there for you when you need them.

Your simple everyday tasks gives you motivation to get up in the morning.

Everything about this game makes me feel so warm and fuzzy inside, it really makes you appreciate life

it doesn't just give you a rush of dopamine but a slow burn of serotonin :,))

2. Your favourite shows

3am binging✨💫

Think of all the future seasons to your favourite show, future movies or just new series in general.

think of all the things you'll miss once you're gone :((

Think of all the stuff you've already watched, you could have missed it if it came out a little later or if you left a little earlier.

stay a little longer to experience new stuff pls

3. reading books

okay but this is a whole aesthetic 🤤

Have you ever finished reading a book and instead of feeling happy you finished it, you felt sad that it was over? That's when you know the book was good. I really miss that feeling ngl :,)

Keep looking for that book, over and over again, it's these books that'll change your life and shape you as a person. For me the books were harry potter, I'm hoping to find new books that have a similar effect on me, it's a reason I want to keep going. One day you'll find a book that will completely change your perception of life too.

I recommend 'being aware of being aware' or any kind of philosophy book :)

You shouldn't give up just yet!! The reason you want to do so is because of your perception of life, if you learn to change your view of life you can see it completely differently. You may think you know everything already but trust me you don't.

4. coffee shops

ahh coffee shops 😌

remember what I said about treating your life as if it were a ghibli movie? Coffee shops are a great setting for making your life feel aesthetic. It's peaceful and a perfect place to study in, it will make you feel like the perfect student, bag those A's 🤩

It doesn't have to be a coffee shop though, whatever fits your aesthetic as long as you learn to fall in love with being alive.

5. falling in love

no gay shit bruh we just homie-sexual 🥵😍😎🤑🤘

one day you'll fall in love and it'll be the best feeling you'll ever feel, it'll happen you just need to wait maybe it has already happened but even so it could happen again, look forward to that feeling :) you don't want to miss it

6. friendships

B)

you'll make so many meaningful relationships in the future, if you haven't even reached uni yet you'll want to keep going that's where you'll really find your true friends.

Just think about all your possible future friends hanging out with you and you guys are all laughing your ass off, that's the feeling you'll want to keep living for :))

7. your future spouse

one day you may get married :) if that in on of itself is not a good enough reason to keep breathing I don't know what is

just imagine your possible wedding day, one day it might come to fruition. Keep going >:( you can do this >:(( I don't want you to miss your wedding day :((

8. The memories you'd make

nature and stuff :)

Just think about all the possible memories you could've made.

Do you really want to miss out on all of that? The laughter, the singing, the hugs, the kissing, heck even the crying. All of the experiences that could have shaped you into a different person than you are now. They're so incredibly important. You'll experience not only the good but the bad, but that's good, it'll make you out into a stronger human being.

Think about all the memories you'll make with your friends, laughing, yelling loudly in public, making a fool of yourselves and enjoying life together :))

9. being super organised and studying

I don't think there's a single more satisfying feeling than getting ahead in school and doing all your work. Being organised is what gets you to learn to feel motivated each day. It's hard but if you figure out what works for you, you'll feel your mood sky rocket :DD

It's such a good feeling, a feeling you won't want to miss out on. you'll feel so proud of yourself, there's no better feeling :)

Journalling is so much fun and also has the same effect :) hang in there

10. waking up and feeling happy

pretty self explanatory but very possible >:( !

It's happened once to me before when I started looking after my mental health and kept a regular sleep schedule + meditated regularly. And it's worth all the pain and suffering I promise :))
